Light Proofing a Door:

I ran a search but I wasn't exactly sure what to search for ... does anyone here know of any methods to completely light proof a standard closet/bedroom door? Prefferably something cheap, and I'd rather not make any major renovations. I've been using electrical tape around the frame when it's absolutely necessary, but it gets to be a pain in the ass constantly applying and removing.

Thanks for all replies in advance.

I taped a bit of tarp around the edges of my door and it works great, on the inside there is about 2" of tarp that overlaps on the frame of the door.

This [badly taken] pic shows the carpet and the door, you can see how the tarp (I use panda plastic here) keeps the light out.

if you wanna go cheap, use black glad drawstring trashbags, if one doesn't work (it should) then two will. i've ended up using them a lot and they work great
