Light problems,

5th week of of flowering for white rhino and I'd switched lights on to nights. Of course, I wasn't able to monitor them and was unaware that the timer had malfunctioned.
The photos show what happened

Having mistaken it for a deficiency, I then gave it pk 13/14 and calmag.
It got much worse.

I've trimmed off all the dead and dying leaves etc. twice. I think they're on the road to recovery, but not sure. Also I've had to have normal lights on during their dark period to do the trimming.

Does anyone have any experience of this? My head is gone and I'd really appreciate any sensible advice from people who know what they're talking about.

Sorry man, but the burn didn't come from a timer malfunction.
What did you feed recently before the incident?
How much N in that P/K number set you provided?

Canna a+b, ec 1.0. No rootbind, 16 liter pots. It's definitely the lack of light that hurt them initially, might have been out for up to 7 days. 5.8-7.4 ph. The ph is unstable and don't know why, but it's never had this effect before, mind you, I've never left it so long. I'm now in week 6 of flowering.
Some of them are showing signs of recovery now after a week but some went too far downhill. I'm expecting a much reduced yield.

If you check my grow journal you will see what my setup is.

Thanks for looking people

Haven't lost as many as I feared, they're on their way back now. Still, there's a lot of dead material, some of it may end up in the final product, will this make it unsmokable?

Your plants are revegging. And have been doing so for some time now. You've also torched the tops of your plants I'm guessing your lights were way to close. I hate to say it but, I'd kill em and start fresh

Why would the buds be putting out new pistils rather than new leaves? Surely the fact they are under 12 hour light cycles keeps the hormones in such a state as to promote flowering and not vegging?

Bro you're going to be fine don't worry about it, my plants look like absolute horse manure compared to yours, I got deficiencies for days Son! Don't worry about it. Just give them water and keep going. All plants stress a bit and get neglected...
