light placement question.

hey guys, I am adding 2 more lights to my grow area. I had 4 1000 watters and am going to 6. 3 over a 10x5 table. My questions is how should i place the lights for best coverage? check out the pic and tell me what you think? either the first half or the second.

i dont think it makes a diff
i read up how to cut elec use down with same results
by turning half the lights on in a zig zag the first couple hrs then turning the rest on....and turning the other half off the last couple hrs
