Before I spend a chunk on a couple of led's, I think I'm going to buy me a couple of light movers. Been watchin the dude on YouTube that uses em and has fantastic results. My room is 10 x 9 and I run (2) 1k watt hsps. Anybody has any input?:weed:

I got a light rail recently and loving it. Bought it to use in an 8x4 tent but couldn't wait so stuck it on the ceiling in my grow room to flower 4 plants that are supported by a vertical/horizontal screen rig and 5' wide. I have 2 - 400W HPS lights in the one hood and could have just used two separate hoods but this seems to work a lot better. 21 days @ 12/12 now.

I had a light rail back in the early 90's. I'm not sure how much better it made things?
The thing wore out after a few years and I've yet to buy another.

I have pretty much the same size room with the same lights. I'm liking the movers. I also have a mover for my led veg light which works great over a 3x8 table. The led is just a viperspectra 450. I think it pulls around 250 from the wall, and with the mover it does great.

How long is your rail?
Mine's a 6' rail. Actually measures 6'6". It's only moving 33" between stops now to cover the plants nicely. Should be a good one as it's made in Colorado by Gualala Robotics. The Light Rail 4.0. Adjustable speed and pause times at the ends.

I picked it up in Kelowna, BC in August on sale for $250CAN so probably $150US or so if bought in the states. I was at a hydro store in northern Alberta here last week and it was closer to $500 so I got a decent deal on it.

Now I want to buy another one so I can keep one in the grow room and have one in the tent when I get it set up but that'll have to wait until I have some more spare cash.

Thanks dude.21 days @ 12/12, are those photos? Big girls..:weed:
They are really budding up nice and I'm expecting some real phat colas by the time they are done. These plants are a sativa dominant that usually takes 12 - 14 weeks to finish crossed with an auto that also has a sativa dominant as one of it's parents so hopefully by 10 weeks they will be ready.

This is one of the typical colas forming on two of the four plants at 20 days. Two of the plants are a little behind but catching up fast. All are from seed.

I've been dosing them with lots of bloom nutes since 5 days before flipping on Nov. 10. AN's Connoisseur 2-part with Big Bud, Bud Ignitor and Rhino Skin. Have been shooting the room full of CO2 from a welding tank during the stretch but cutting back on that as it gets too humid in there with the extra heat to the point the floor gets wet and I fear bud rot or powdery mildew. An A/C unit and CO2 controller are on my wish list now too. :)

After looking at TanG's light set up I think I am buying 2 7' rails and try hanging them at a slanting angle. I saw some on Amazon for about $140 ea. Gotta get closer to his level of growing.:weed:

Slanting across the room like mine is hope. The rails themselves should be dead level so the motor doesn't have to haul the light uphill. But you knew that already. ;)
