sounds so familiar I have the exact problem old house unfinished basement my 1200watts only keep the space 70 my night temps barely around 50 but im working on insulationI grow in a very cold basement, this year I found some 350 watt mini cubicle space heaters I am have been using with some success...but it has yet to get REALLY cold where I am. Seems silly heating a grow when most folks are trying to cool things but hey what can you do lol
I doubt it will affect anything but those heaters are not the safest way to add heat. Have you thought about an oil filled heater? I use one inside the tent in my unheated garage. But they take up space and with just a 4 x 4 space is at a premium. I keep putting it off but my plan has been to use a piece of radiant floor heating mat on the bottom of the tent in the future. So I need to heat my tent and was wondering if during flower if the glow of a heating element heating up will be considered a light leak situation.
Just getting g together some stuff I need and don't want to buy the wrong stuff.
Thank
Wiz

I have extra radiant floor heating from when I installed my floors in the house. But for that one I'd need to literally have to do flooring in this tent to properly install it lol.I doubt it will affect anything but those heaters are not the safest way to add heat. They have 3 x 3 ft pieces for $50. Can be hooked to a thermostat.
I put a floor on the bottom of my tent to keep the plants off of the cold concrete floor. I just haven't gotten around to getting some of the heating mat and some sheet vinyl to cover it.I have extra radiant floor heating from when I installed my floors in the house. I'm going to go with a very small ceramic style heater that doesnt glow, and doesn't throw heat outside of its casing.
I found a couple that just radiate heat instead of forcing it.

Yea exactly. I have left over LVP as well. I might just do it after this 1st initial run in the tent.I put a floor on the bottom of my tent to keep the plants off of the cold concrete floor. I just haven't gotten around to getting some of the heating mat and some sheet vinyl to cover it.
