Light issue? Bottom of the plant dying, Flowering Wk 2

Hi there,

This is my second grow and I'm noticing the whole bottom half of the plant dying in week two of flowering--leaves drying and falling off, stems dying and breaking, etc. My first instinct is poor light distribution, maybe resolved with some LST? But I'm really not sure. At this point in the grow, most of the plants are around 4 - 4 1/2 ft and pretty much fill the grow tent (7 plants in 5 gallon buckets in a 4x4x7 tent). The top of the plants look healthy and are growing at about 1/2 inch a day (about the same rate my previous group of flowering plants did); they all have small flowers on the main cola(s) and the higher side branches.

We're running a 280W flowering LED and 90W red UFO LED, humidity around 40-50%, temps 73-78 during the day and about 10 degrees colder at night, yeast and sugar water CO2 setup. Potted in FFOF/perlite/worm power mix, getting the full line of FF nutes, rotating them every couple days in an attempt to even out light distribution. Using RO water pH-adjusted to around 6.5.

In my first flowering (the mother plants of this bunch), the plants were significantly smaller (around 2-3 feet at the end of flowering) and flowered in a closet for 10 wks using the same light and nutes and no added CO2; we didn't have this problem, although they did get very dry because we had issues with high temperatures for a few weeks (in the end we got about 10-13 grams off each).

Pics are of just one of the 6 cuz they're a bitch to take in and out of the room, but they all look about the same. Any ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!! :-)

trim all that out of bottom of plant. Not getting light just going to be air bud. Let the top bud get the needed energy trim that out.
