Light intensity versus yield during flower

I have a question about light intensity in my flower room.
I have a 1000 W high-pressure sodium in a 9 x 7 flower room. Yeah I know I need more light but that's all I can afford right now.
I have an AK-47 that is seven weeks in the flower and has stopped its beefing up stage. In my experience that means the plant is getting close to harvest but when I looked at the trichromes under my loop; there was maybe 1 cloudy in a 100. This plant is well within the footprint of the light in right next to the headband.
I have a headband plant that is in the center of the footprint of the 1000 W bulb and was put into the flower room two weeks after the AK-47. This plant shows cloudiness and signs of initial ripening but is still fattening itself up and has time to go.
Now I'm a patient man and I'll wait until the AK-47 is thoroughly done before it is harvested.
I know that they are two different species and every plant has its own individual ripening time anyway.
Here's my question: is the AK-47 taking longer to ripen because it's more out of the footprint of the light?
Does increased light intensity during flowering increase productivity,(beefing up stage) and ripening times?

yes no and a definite maybe light highly affects it as do all the other variables but ya it will take longer cfl's prime example i'll ask a question how old is your bulb ?
 
The bulb is about two months old. It's actually is old is about seven weeks as long as said AK is been flowering
 
also the headband is mostly indica and the ak is more of a sativa would make sense seeing that even a short flowering sativa takes longer then a indica
 
makes me sad that i havent popped my purple haze but the flower time is soooooo long, and not worth it 12/12 from sprout from what i read

The headband is just under the center- right of the thousand watt high-pressure sodium.
 
My friend just gave up on a super silver haze plant.
It was in his flower room for almost 5 months. I want to try to steer clear of any sativa the heavy breeds.

:weed: but ya i think the ak just runs longer the head band is like 70/30 ind/sat and the ak is a og kush diesel hybrid mostly sativa
 
I didn't say they were done I was expressing interest in why My AK-47 has stopped growing noticeably, despite the fact many of the hairs are still white; yet still shows no signs of initial ripening.
As far as the hairs go they really don't tell you when the thing is ripe; only the trichromies and their color can tell you whether or not the plant is ripe yet.
I always have nice healthy leaves at harvest except for the very bottom leaves, that's what I make hash out of.
 
The bud that I posted a picture of has not grown in size in about two weeks. It's getting near its average finishing time and I was hoping would show start to show signs of ripening. Like I said in the beginning I know it will be done in its own sweet time, but because of the way it's growing, its position under the light got me curious.
 
The Ak-47 should finish in 53-63 days. Nitrogen can cause the plant to take longer to flower and ripen. Like that other dude said your plant looks to green for 7 weeks in flower. It looks healthy, the big fan leaf in the picture is nice and green, there usually the first to yellow and die but not on your plant. No it's not root bound or nute locked. Plant looks healthy.
