Light fell on plant! HELP!! pics

Last night my lighting setup fell on top of my flowering plant. It was crushing it for a guess a few hours but it was at night the the burns were not too bad. I fixed what I could with string holding up the branches. Is there anything else I can do to help it repair itself or do I just have to wait?

That's about it, if the stems aren't broken in half, you should be okay.

i had a similar problem. but your light fixture of course was probably much bigger. i had a CFL small bulb fall on one of my young plants a while back, breaking the main stem almost in half. i thought that was it and the plant would die. what i did was i grabbed some scotch tape, taped it up and was hoping it would keep it alive but felt it was worthless.

well...........it actually paid off and fixed itself, didn't die and budded

Forget shitting my plants I'd have a panic attack. Gonna have to call the ambulance for my ass. Anyway to be on topic they dont look to bad, should be ok. Only time will tell.

yeah all things considered it looks alright. That's why my overhead light is hooked directly into a support structure and held up by adjustable moving straps (handle lots of weight and are easy to adjust height in both directions)
I only have my one baby going right now, she'll probably become a mother plant in the long run but I don't know what I would do if she actually suffered that kind of pain.

So far as I can think the best thing now that you've got it held up is to try not to over do it and give it a chance to repair itself. I actually have a baby bush outside that was run over by a lawnmower and recovered very quickly with just a little normal water and sunshine.
worst thing you can probably do is keep messing with it... you have a chance it'll go into shock but just keep applying regular light and don't change anything and it should recover.
after all... for all the love and care we give them, they are just weeds...

Just shy of 8 weeks. I have pics on my profile of what it used to look like before it got crushed... Hopefully it will be fine like you all said we just have to wait.

if it was HID light you'd be fucked. nice plant for cfls.
