Hey guys could some1 please tell me the area coverage i should achieve with 2 x 600 hps lights ???? both have diamond reflectors attatched, thankyou

How high are the lights from your plants? How many plants? How tall are the plants? These factors will affect coverage area. Fire them up and see what works.
I am interested in this question also as I'm going to design and build a grow space specifically using 2x 600hps. So far the space dimensions are 5x6 which I 'think' should be adequate. Not sure what type of grow I'm going with yet but most likely soil in 3 gallon containers.

one 600 wat should cover 3x3 ideally. You can sexpand that to 4x4 if you have them next to each other and some mylar. OF course you could cover a sadium very poorly, but the rull of thumb is...

Light movers can change that, but it is a good rule to go by.

ok thanks - but i read somewhere that u need to keep 600's 2 feet away from plants ? you disagree ? thanks again !!

With proper ventilation you can keep your lights inches from your plants, it's all dependent on your temps. I personally disagree with the 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 rule of thumb I'ld say you can easily go 400w 3x3, 600w 4x4, and 1000w 5x5 without problems of light loss. So with that your 2 600's can cover a 8x4 area rather well. 8x8 just doesnt even make geometric sense, unless your lights somehow send out a wide rectangular footprint.
