If you are any good with electrics and DIY you could remove the driver from top of light, extend the cables, that would give you an extra couple of inches.

Here is the PAR map for the xs1000 in a 2ft x 2ft area.

The light needs to be ~ 14 inches away, on full blast in flowering.

Hard to believe there only 8 plants there but they are so full :bigjoint:
I can't wait to get to that level, and also thank you I cut the piece off where you told me plus I cut off the fan leaf to the right of it as well because it was mostly burned. I wish I came on here a few days earlier to ask for a method on raising the lights so I didn't have to cut anything outside of pruning because holding this burned cut off piece hurts lol

All mistakes hurt bro Somedays when I'm defolating a little here and there I almost feel sad like I'm hurting myself and the plants haha but through trial and error fuck ups are a must aswel they may worry us but you have to take the good with the bad sometimes and that's how we learn techniques to avoid them on our next runs :hump:

While I'm interested in this DIY project I don't want to mess with any electric components so I'm gonna go with the first method you showed me lol maybe after harvest I'll attempt it as a project to get myself into messing with grow lights and wiring in case I ever wanna make a custom grow area.
