does anyone have a site that I can research and look at these y socket adapters so you can run multiple cfl bulbs in one. I have been searching and my search has turned up nothing.

I dont think wal mart carries them. I am just trying to find out how much they cost and do some research before purchasing a few.

yeah wal-mart carries them, that's where I got mine but on the website they don't show little things like that because usually people aren't going to order a y-splitter over the internet.

But anyways their like $1.00 a peice and are in a " Y " shape, you will find them in the light bulb section of the store. You simply screw in the y adaptor and then screw the light bulbs in the adapter

You can find these at ALMOST any hardware store, Lowes, Wal-mart, Home Depot

I have been to walmart, home depot, lowes, target, and even ross looking for a y splitter, I havent found any.

Does any 1 know where i can get a y bulb socket adapter in the bayonet type fitting that suits australia lights

I assume you are in the US by the stores you list. Is there some reason you aren't buying the $20 150w hps instead of a bunch of crap to run cfls that are less efficient?

I mean you say you're running all over town looking for $1 splitters... Two of these would do you way better than what you are trying to get and cost less in the long run. One is probably less than the gas you wasted looking for splitters.

i looked in home depot, lowes, and walmart for like 30 min ea, and finally found them at home depot for like 3$ you just have to fuckin look hard

yeah, I've been to my home depot and lowes. Still haven't found em yet. Maybe they just haven't been selling well and they stopped ordering them. Meh. I'll post here when I finally find it!
