what's up everyone. anyone know on average how much its goona cost me to run 2x1000 watt hps lights a 600watt hps and a 1500 watt space heater plus water pump fans ect per month rough estiment anyone?

find out what your electricity company charges you per uni and do the very simple sum

on a 12/12 schedule anyone?

with that info .. you will be using 4.1kw with just lights .. add another 1kw for everything else ( estimate) find how much you pay for hydro $/kwh ... multiply your lighting times .. there you go ..

watts times hours divided by 1000 times cost per kilowatt hour = total cost

if you don't know the wattage, then :

amps times volts times hours divided by 1000 times cost per kilowatt hour = total cost

costs run between 28cts /kwh up to around 35cts ... most places

9.9 cents here plus taxes + fees, about 13 cents total.

that blows my bills going to be another 200+ every month

I thought this was way high until tellno1 posted, Canada is worse than Alaska, at least where he lives, most places I hear about have lower prices than here.
