Setup is 4x4 grow tent with 2 300w mars led fixtures. I want to be able to veg in this space. I have another setup with clf for flowering. I'm in the market for another light. I have $220 to spend and wanted some advice on what to get... I've been looking at the viparspectra brand. Just wanted some input before buying. Thanks:)

Spend it on upgrading from Cfl in the flower room, I'm not slagging off cfls, but...

I'd reccomend the viparspectra for veg and mars hydro for flower only if your dead set on running the cheaper leds. Vipars are more blue than red making them great for veg. And mars has alot of red over blue making it decent for flower

Take a look in the Led Section of RIU.
Lots of options in there.
DO NOT buy any more of those Mars type lights!
What about an HLG Quantum Board kit?

Or if you are handy at DIY get some samsung strips and build your own.

There's plenty of friendly, helpful people in the led section who will only be too happy to help answer any questions about building leds ;)

you know you could always start phasing out those cfl bulbs to led bulbs with the diffusers off, that's an in expensive upgrade you can do......

i'm upgradeing too looking at quantum boards and or timber setup..
I have a bunch of cob lights ( a little over 6k Watts) but I feel qb’s are going to do better. All my cobs are citizen 1818’s 3k so the new Samsung boards should blow them out of the water.
