Life is Ticking Away!

My plant is abuot 2 weeks- its growth has stunted and its been the same. Roots are fairly small, but are branching well.

1) I started germination. 3 of 7 sprouted.

2) I planted those 3.

3) Grew tremendously in a paper cup with garden soil and mulch until recently. Kept CFL (not hot) light at 18/6. No new nutrients since.

4) Suddenly, the 2 new leaves (not the sprout leaves, actual leaves) came very well. 3 days later, they started burning at the edges. Chlorine water is impossible- I use brand new bottled spring water. No nutrients. No light pattern change. Oxygen flow is great. pH is water neutral.

5) Leaves progressively dying. Other sprouts from other seeds dying the exact same way. As if a cloud of death passed over my plants in their various stages, they all are dying. 2 have died, 1 last remains.

6) So the one thats remaining- Im doing all I can to bring it to life. Its leaves have curled and twisted black- but now, instead of black, its as if they've now turned golden. They have untwisted- but turned golden. The leaves have only twisted halfway, and then from there- the plant is this lush, beautiful green with a beautiful stem. Its only those tiny leaves that have blackened and twisted (now golden), and it has stopped, apparently.

7) In a panic, I replanted, figuring that garden soil I just scooped up is sucking a lot. I put it into jiffy starting soil (very very loose, fluffy, sticks well with water still).

7) In a panic today, I went to get very low nutrient liquid (NPK, all very low in grade) and lightly leaf-fed the plants and dampened the soil. No progress since.

8) The plant, since it has twisted and blackened, has not changed. It hasnt decayed further, but it hasnt grown further- meaning whatever was harming it must have left or slowed down, or Im doing something better- or its just hit the dead end and is dying.

9) In my final try- I moved to a cheap hydroponic. A bucket of water, a pot, rocks and dry jiffy soil on top, a bubbler underneath, and mixing in very lightly my .03/.002/.02 NPK mix. I'm only praying now.

I wish I had pictures-- can anyone recommend something that could be a quick fix? I know its difficult without a picture. pH is slightly acidic or neutral, it waivers depending on how much of this worm poop nute i add.

My first set-up previously:
Styrofoam cup of soil with hole on bottom. Kept soil moist at all times. Watered well. Plant thrived. 18/6 CFL light, good open-air ventilation.

My set-up during my first emergency transfer for new soil:
1 gallon pot with Jiffy starter (perlite, peat, soil; very fluffy and light, absorbs water well).

Magnesium problem:
Added some epsom salt (very little). Nothing changed. Beginnign to thing Mg is not the problem.

My trump card set-up:
Very light nutes, hydroponic. Styrofoam cup (cut out the bottom) with rocks and a little dry jiffy soil on top. Place cup in container filled with fresh bottled water and some light nutrients. Airstone fiercely bubbling. Water is reaching the roots, not the dry soil on top.

Plant Condition Currently:

Strong stem (for its stunted size). Green and vivacious until the middle of each leaf where it seems to twist and blacken, now turning gold. Only one sprout leaf remains un-blackened or twisted as much as the others. It hasn't changed from this condition in the last 18 hours.

UPDATE

Apparently, I think the black is receding to reveal more green. Im pretty sure the leaves are kinda lost- they were so black they were almost crisping themselves off and breaking apart- but now they're like, soft. And mabye its just me THINKING that there is more green- but I think the plant is a little greener. Hm... We'll see.
