I always liked to think that when i die i get to meet god and talk to it for as long as i want and ask it anything i have ever wondered, to have all my questions answered... but it's sort of a childlike fantasy.

yeah I use to think we would get to watch like a video recording of every moment in our lives in which we screwed up.
If you got there and if you were able to see what you did wrong and what you should have done right you get to move on to the next phase...

I wouldn't like to watch something like that... man it would suck, i've made too many mistakes already, and i'm sure there will be more to come.

Yeah I just can't help thinking that someone or something out there is keeping tabs on what we do. Yes, it sounds silly but holy shit what if I was wrong. As I get older I realize that any loving god wouldn't just "drop" us off on earth and expect us to find our way. So I figured if I am the best person I can be I'll fall into the right category somewhere.

OR... are our brains just antennas picking up frequencies from outer space? Sometimes I receive thoughts or solutions to things out of nothing. The idea of our creations only exist until they are created in a physical form. I've heard people theorize that due to tremendous advance in the human brain over such a short period of time that, we may have had help at some ancient point in time from terrestrial beings.

Right, but there really is no "good" or "bad". We human animals have made up those concepts within our minds. What we think may be good, others on the other side of the world may think it is bad.

Good and bad are completely subjective ideas.

What about the late homo erectus species of animal, our ancient ancestors, it is thought that in hard times during droughts or famine when one of their party dies, they consume the body. That was neither good, nor bad to them... just part of survival. But in this new day and age, it is almost unthinkable to eat one of our own...

Death can be terrifying if we don't know where we are going.

Say Jesus save me

Get baptized

Live a righteous life

And go to heaven and don't burn forever in a very real and burning hell.

I've heard demons screaming out of someone and i know hell is real.

My parents raised me on a combination of native(indian)and catholic beliefs. As I grew I studied various martial arts and the philosifies attatched to such-this past fall I was diagnosed with oral cancer and have had several very painfull treatments and am awaiting results Feb 13th.I have had to face my mortality-that my life will come to an end is very real to me.I may beat this-I may not.I dont think one should worry about dying/death.We should be more concerned with how we treat each other and how we behave in our evryday lives. We only get one chance at life I belive and what it is-is what we make of it.Try to enjoy it all-at least thats what Im trying to do.Peace.

I hope you get good results brother.
Thanks,I am comfortable with what ever happens oddly enough. As Captan Hook once said-"Death.The next great adventure."We had a big storm go through here last night, lots of fresh snow.So the wife and I are going taboganing with some hot chocolate.Peace.

I have mixed feelings on this. Im scared of dying, im more scared of the pain. But im also not scared because death happens to all of us, when it happens I just have to except it and be thankful for my life and all the great things I got to do. Even if there is a lot more things I wanted to do before I die. As for what happens after I die, I have no clue. None of us will truely know till it happens

To understand death, first you must understand what dies.

When you begin stripping away the layers that make self, eventually you are left with a core you neither recognise or understand. Who is to say what it is, or if it dies.
