Let's Start this Journey....

First off thanks for everyone who takes a look at this thread and hope to get some good advice from the experts of RIU so, let's begin!

My equipment:
- Air-cooled 600 watt mh/hps (I'm gonna upgrade my bulbs to some Hortilux bulbs soon) ducted to a
- 180 CFM exhaust inline fan
- Basic fan for air circulation
- 78in x36in x36in Grow tent
- Jiffy Pellets (Seed starter)
- PH testers

Nutrients:
- Fox Farm Trio
- Molasses (NOT A Nutrient)

I'm still adding equipment...bond with me! Now....lets talk strains shall we?
- Nivana Master Kush
- Seedsman Seeds White Widow
- Dinafem Industrial Plant (AKA Northern Lights)
- TH Seeds Burmese Kush
- G13 Labs Pineapple Express
hopefully I'll be adding some clones with these babies I'll post pics later they showed there tails this morning so I've placed them under a large fluorescent 6500k tube light in a humidity dome under 18/6 for this first 1-2 weeks

Day 2:
of course nothing new mist the dome and let them relax still drying & curing my Skunk #1 I haven't forgot about the pictures just been kinda busy with school

Day 3:
Looks like once again White Widow sprouts first! so far so good the rest as you can see they haven't broke ground yet....

Day 4:

Pineapple Express & Industrial Plant have joined WW and it looks like MK and BK will be up possibly by tomorrow I'm high right now and history channel is on so.....pics later I will continue to give updates... Is there anybody out there with me on this journey?

Day 5:
BK has surfaced and MK isn't showing stem (no pics)

Day 12:
Been very busy with other things and haven't been able to update daily well everything is going well. Sadly I had problems with Master kush even though it germinated fine it never left the shell I believe it's stuck..so I placed in back in water and hopefully someone will help me out with that or I'll just make another pointless thread....Well other than that I had to get more pots I had to 5 liter cat liter buckets so thats where IP & WW will spend the rest of there lifecyle in I got a chance to get to Home Depot and picked up so 4 liter pots and some soil for PE & BK final home also I have a bucket to use if Master kush makes it or I'll just pick up another pot hell..they were only I think $3.00 also I've moved them in the tent under the 600w mh with the same timing....Oh yeah and Burmese had a problem I left off the humidity dome over night by a mistake and when I came back it had looked dead I didn't think it would make a come back but it seems to be coming back just fine so that's a good thing so now pics!

I would like to note also that i was counting from the day of Germination not when they sprouted
08-03-11 would be considered Day 1 of veg/seedling stage

Excuse me for asking but where is your exhaust fan?
And if I misunderstood then where is your intake fan?

No problem, I'm using a "inline" fan for exhaust through the light. it itself is outside the tent blow the air out the room and I got a standard large fan blowing fresh air in here's a link to where I got it: http://htgsupply.com/Product-6in-Inline-Duct-Fan.asp

u need another exhaust fan other than the 1 for the light and could just have a passive intake if your temps are ok.

I haven't upgrade any equipment from my last grow so there will be a few new things added soon you got any recommendations?
temps are usually about 75-85 the pic shown with the temp is 4 minutes into the light turning on so my humidity is very high and usually goes down

are you going to use a carbon filter?

not really worried about the smell.. I placed the tent in the back of the basement in a room so I think it will be safe maybe when I move I'll add one but not for this grow

so derrick are you using the 600 from the start? iv got a 600 but at the moment am jus using 250 as i cant get my big tent up till we move house.
just interested as i normally use florecent at start.

fan looks good i will prob need somethin like that for my other tent.
thats the prob going with bigger tent, need bigger everything else kinda wish i had started big but suppose gotta start somewhere, i actually started on window ledge and now im hooked for life just cant get enough of it.

Nope, I just switched to my 600w about 2 days ago they were under fluorescent tube lights for their first few days under 18/6 with a humidity dome once they sprout I give them a day without the humidity dome then I transplant the seedling which is in a jiffy pellet to their final home but I did use my 600w all the way through my last grow no problems just had to have a nice distance and air circulation

My first grow was a old entertainment system cabinet with like 4 they were males so I upgraded to my tent and a 400w with mh/hps ballast yield was like 4-5 oz from 3 plants im in love with my 600w but i cant wait to get some hortilux bulbs but I dont think they made a mh conversion bulb because my ballast is hps only how much did you yield your first time around? Using the window ledge
