Looks like you got some fat colas going there bro! How's she starting to smell? I saw this strain somewhere recently and sounds pretty good. Thoughts on the side lighting you added?
Thanks man, she's is getting big :) She smells good! No smell outside the cabinet, except for a few minutes when the lights shut off. From what I read, it was highly rated. This was my last seed...I bought them probably 5 years ago, I don't know if they're still around. The seeds came from the 'Tude. I don't see any negative effects from the side lighting so far, so I guess I'm happy with it. One thing I do like is that when the door is closed, there's basically no shadows inside, so all parts of the plant are getting light. I kind of want to up the under-canopy lights to 50W from the 30W, but idk.

Hello Everyone,

Here's a quick Saturday pic of the Honey Bananas. I forgot to mention last time that one of the under-canopy lights I bought quit working on me. The company is sending me a warranty replacement, should be here soon. I've had to tie up the girl, she's too heavy for the branches to support the buds without flopping over. It's a real sticky and stinky job. I'm trying my best to keep them from leaning on the walls. Here she is:

Hello Everyone,

It's been another 10 days, I hope you've all been well. The Honey Bananas is almost done. I'm ending it this weekend I think. Here's a pic of her undercarriage and a pic of the whole plant. Just for a refresher, that's a 3 gallon pot. This weekend will be about 10 weeks, definitely ending it by next weekend.

Damn Im Getting All Jelly And Chit Looking And Waiting For Your Harvest Pic's!! Wait A Dawg Gone Minute I Knew Something Wasn't Right About This Grow. That's A Plastic Pot Where's The Orange Clay Pot?? Inquiring Minds Want To Know bongsmilie
She's in the end stages. Should be dried in about a week, maybe a little more :) Will weigh and calculate yield.
I actually looked for 3 gallon terra cotta pots, but they didn't have any at the store I was shopping at. Three gallon plastic pots was all they had.

Hello RIU peoples :)

Sorry for the delay in posting. Been busy smoking this Honey Bananas. Got just shy of a half pound on this one. Judging by the roots in the pot, I'm shooting for a 3/4 pounder this next time. I think it can be done with a bit longer veg time and more aggressive branch management. I was going to go visit some family, but it's too cold so I'm not going anywhere until Spring. In the meantime, I'm germinating a Crockett Farms Cherry 18 fem'd seed.

Here's a frost shot of a couple buds I pulled out of jar, along with my zippo for scale. The picture is a fresh cut through so you can see the inside frost. I don't do much trimming, pretty much just a rough cut of the fan leaves and that's it.....got some good scissor hash out of the deal too! Overall, I'm pretty happy with the addition of the lights.

from everything ive read on line and watched on you tube, not a professional but imo 3500 kelvin is closest spectrum to perfect as you can get from single source lighting. My light is 5700k plus 660nm deep red. 730nm is mainly heat but penetration spectrum like green but better. Higher kelvin more blue, so 10,000 k would have almost no red whatsoever. 2100k falls heavily in red. Stoned so cant remember question.

Hey everyone,

The Cherry 18 sprouted yesterday, so we're officially starting a new girl. Going to do a bit more work on the training I think and one extra week of veg time. Lighting schedule is 16 on/ 8 off with a 7 minute 630nm burst at beginning and end of the 'day'. I'm going full power from the start with the intensity. Last grow I bumped it over time and it stressed the plant each time I adjusted the intensity. I'll post a pic of her once I top her the first time.

Hey everyone,

Been pretty busy with work and the Cherry 18 is still pretty small, so there's not a lot to see. I topped her for the second time yesterday, I'll post a pic in a couple days when I get her againbongsmilie Dawg, might want to get your notepad out.

I hope you've all been well!

Hello RIU peoples,

I topped the girl again yesterday and here's our first pic of the Cherry 18, since things are starting to get exciting. The fan leaves are huge. The largest one in the front is about 2 inches wide, and it's only a second node fan. Seems like she's loving all the light. You can see the effects of gentle bending on the stems to spread the branches. Going to be a big girl for the cabinet.

Dawg, I calculated the difference in our floor surface areas and a 1/2 lb from my cabinet is pretty close to what you're getting per unit area in the 3x3 spot. 540 in^2 vs 1300 in^2. So, I digress, but you might want your notepad on this one since we're going to 3/4-1 pound this time. :hump::hump:bongsmilie
