Has anyone ever consumed/smoked the flower of Leonotis Leonurus? I once was given a small 1g bag of the flower petals, the part of the plant that contains the highest concentration of leourine, the active alkaloid. I smoked a small amount of the petals and did notice some bio-activity that was pleasant and sort of benzotic feeling. I feel that if the effects could be concentrated you may have something worth procuring.

So I planted a few seeds and threw them under some cfls and now a MH and here is 3 week old Leonotis Leonurus! Kinda cool plant. Hopefully it wasn't too risky planting two on this rockwool cube. I couldn't thin one out because that were both completely equal in size and I didn't want to kill one and let the other live and then feel guilty and next thing ya know your up till 5am freaking out at what you have done, callin your mom and shit.. I went soil with them because they are not a very water demanding plants and thrive in dryer conditions. They seem to be growing fairly fast and now they are gettin some HID so they may take off. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonotis_leonurus

So I'm trying to grow some of this myself. ive got about 7 sprouts that have came up about a month ago. their getting bigger, but now they all fell over and started to bend their stocks. now their growing straight up with the bottom inch laying on the dirt. did this happen with any of your plants?do you think this could effect them down the road?
