NEWBIE NEEDS HELP! I have 12 Lemon Skunk clones that I am trying to get roots to grow. I have been spraying them in my areo system for a week and still NO ROOTS. I have mason jars over them and mist them once a day and let them breath for like 20 mins. I am using canna Rhizotonic at 7.5ml per gallon. I have an air stone in the tank. I am under 18 hours of light with t12 vita lite bulbs. My EC is 1.0. The water temp is 75 degs. How long should it take to see some roots????? They look ok but I think I should see some roots by now. Please give me some advice. Maybe I just need to be more patient. Thanx ~Hal:leaf:

What state was the plant you took cuttings from...veg or flower...and what week of which?
Also where did you take the cuttings up high or down low on the plant? When you took each cut did you use a brand new if not sterile razorblade or what instrument?
did you cut the bottom of the cutting at a 45degree angle to expose the center mass(white) where the roots come from?
I'm really not being difficult these things matter. Also did each cutting go directly into water until planted?

even if you did each step and precedure perfect...
it can take up to 10 days or better.
My personal experience is with dna genetics ls and I have been successful in cloning both soil and hydrofarm heated green house....soil takes longer but imo produces better branching when put into it's medium.
My earliest with ls was 6 days using root riot in the hydrohouse.

Hope this helps!

I bought them from a dude from the grow shop. He just handed me a bag of 12 clones and I dont have any cut info. Kinda in the dark on the details of how, where, they were cut. I wish I had better information. I just dont want them to die. I paid 20 bucks each for them.

Well some of the leaves at the bottom are starting to yellow out. But.....The new growth looks to be reaching for light and nice and green. I will post some pics. I will go shoot some now. Give me a few minutes.

I tossed in a picture of this baby grown from a seed from some regs. Its gotta be some sort of indica. I'll sex it when I go to 12 hours. The others are my Lemon Skunk clones under domes.

they look great I suggest not misting them as much make the roots grow in search of water...the plant is a survivor have water below for them to reach for be patient they are healthy!
are your manifolds misting with a pump? you should be spraying for 1 minute on 5 minutes off .

So is there like a res or what ...I mean what method are you using to get the plant to reach for water?
I mean lets talk north for above ground south for below...so for growth to go south it needs to search below for water...misting north growth will keep the plant alive and green.
If you make water almost within reach they will go crazy trying to reach it.
if your ebb ang flowing or flooding those manifolds it will be a minute.
I get great results using root riot plugs first in a hydrohouse you get little white spikes growing out of them .
then they are ready for your medium.
I hope I'm not sounding like I'm telling you what to do just trying to let you know my method.
But clean legit set-up man looks great + rep 4 sure!
keep me posted man . I love that strain I have done well with her. its my avatar and I have another growing now!

keep the domes when they start to yellow instead of getting new growth north means your getting growth south! you can give them a bit of misting whenn you see more yellowing but generally this means she has grown a nice tap-root below! Y
our more than welcome man.

Dude your awesome! I get it. I really do want to know what you think and suggest. I need to get a timer for the pump. The north south thing makes total sense too. That settles it I am going to buy a timer tomorrow. I will keep you posted for sure!

Sorry man I have to give ya my .02 on this one. Go kick that guys ass that sold ya that shit. good god man 20 a clone. I can get seeds for 5 each, and most times I'll get 80% gem out of that. Then do your own clones. It takes a little longer. But a lot cheaper. and looking at your setup it looks like you could spare a little room for a mommy plant. Then you wont have to spend a dime.

But really kick the shit out of that guy will ya.

good luck man

I have roots! Just on one so far. I have faith now. I ditched the domes and made those little girls seek the southern water. I picked up 2 more patients and some G13 and UK Cheese babies. AWESOME!
