Lemon Kush

Moving the information of my grow from here http://rollitup.org/t/miracle-gro-organic-potting-mix-test-vs-coco.913432/ to this thread as I feel the original intention of the thread has been lost due to my circumstances.

My plant is now resting in the Nature's Care organic soil from Miracle Gro. I have her LST'd in a 3-gallon pot at the moment and topped once so far. My intention is to continue to LST the plant around the pot two different ways to keep the plant as short and bushy as possible.

I ran into some issues with this grow right away I was really excited to get back into vegetative and made some dumb decisions. In the future I will always start my plant in a much smaller pot to allow the roots to form a nice root ball first no specific scientific reason just I've done small containers vs final pot to start and small containers comes with less head aches for me. So I wound up with an over watered and under fed plant due to me also not really having the tools I need to do a proper coco/drain to waste hydro grow.

The Herbies website does recommend organic soil for Lemon Kush so that is what I am going with plus it is just easier for someone who is forgetful like me. Just seems easier to put my plant into some soil and water it when it needs it and that is all.

I'll be keeping this thread updated as I continue this grow, thanks for all future input.

Edit: I am aware she is quite yellow, she is recovering from being under fed and has actually gained a lot of green in the past few days since I transplanted her to the soil.

I just recently finished a run of this. It definitely holds true to its name. Smells and tastes like lemons... gets really piney and shit too but is a good yielder and throws tons of trichs. You'll like it.

One of the main reasons I picked it up was for the lemon/pine flavors and smells. I'm a big fan of citrus scents and really crave that in my herb. I enjoy an old school funky taste you know that classical weed taste but the more exotic ones are growing on me. I got real lucky and tried some Barney's LSD from another local grower through my bro and his stuff was super purple and smelled of grape soda. Wasn't too strong though, I think he could come onto RIU for some tips haha.

Here is hoping though I can pull this lady through to a good harvest.

So I jumped the gun and topped her again too early but I'm pushing on. I have her tied down and she is reaching for the light at peak times. I took this photo just before lights out.

All of her previously yellow leafs are regaining some green and she is loving the nature care soil. I also started feeding her a home made Sweet Raw formula at 10ml a gallon. I plan to flip her in a few weeks.

She's been in flowering for about five days now and the stretch is already on. I've taken advantage of her stretch to continue LST'ing her to her pot and keeping her low. The foliage in the back that is sticking up real high is going to become a clone soon and I'm going to take at the node to allow more bud sites to form. After I take this last clone it should give me somewhere between 9-12 tops.

Yes, I deleted some posts. I was angry and out of line. I've blocked the member in question and will socialize with them no further. I'm here to grow and learn, not to be belittled for being a certain way or have someone attempt to make pathetic personal attacks on me.

Once i switch to 12/12 i never chop anything, its certainly taken off in the soil nicely :-)

This thread and the op are a joke
Well someone said sucking dick and i just wanted to get in on the action :-)

The thread will never get anywhere now so probably best to let it die and let Cyrus420 chill so he can come back and join in with no hard feelings. He's not that bad a guy and these forums aren't easy at the best of times...

You're right, this thread won't go anywhere, but the op fucked up. I've seen this newb on too many threads talking shit like he knows what's up. So I had to put him out on front street. He sucks and has no business giving advice or talking shit to other growers. He needs to stay his ass in the newb section.
