Lemon G strain information needed.

I've looked around a lot and have yet to find any real information about the strain.
I will soon have 6 lemon G clones and would like to have as much information about the strain as possible.

Since it seems to be a "clone only" plant, the usual reviews and such are pretty much none existent. So any information would be helpful.

The best I have to work with is it's a stringy rapid grower and produces a pretty good high that originated in southern Ohio years back.

So teach me oh great ones :dunce:

the beach and needle 289.jpgOk, I guess I'll just up date this from time to time as I learn more about them.

I have 6 of the best clones I've ever seen of any strain.
They are very strong starters and love to stretch.the beach and needle 290.jpg
I've been taping them down every other day to spread the light and growth more evenly.
Gaining an inch a day with standrd fox fam nutes.

I've got a couple Lemon G going right now they are in the third week of flower, also got them as clones. They don't stretch too bad, nicely proportioned with height and bushiness. Looks like it should yield pretty decent.

Sounds good.

Here are some pic's from today. The first day of week two in veg. I've been tying them down to get the lowers up and out there.

They gained on the average of an inch a day, right now my lowers are almost even with my top since they are all getting really good light.

Well lets take a look at the Lemon G at two weeks with some LST going on.

The only issue I've run into so far with this Lemon G was several plants have their own nute levels. They are actually in need of higher doeses then the other plants.

Alrighty then I'll clue you in a bit. Lemon g started in Columbus it will take around 70days to finish. The nugs are real loose and fluffy. It produces a nice amount of buds. But since their so airy the weight won't be there. If you didn't get the clones from Columbus then the other lemon g strain comes from Athens area. This strain is not as good as the Columbus version I don't know why that is because supposedly they are the same cut but the Athens one doesn't produce like cbus does. I've also heard that the Athens one went to north Carolina too. So hope that helps out.

It could have been grown by way of hydro also. Which is why I grow in soil.
Soil grown always seems to come with a harder heavier bud.

Just took 6 clones this morning. I plan on keeping a mother now too.
One more week and they are into flower.
Just transplanted and moved them into the 600W tent.

Well I'm actually growing some right now, in soil.
So the fact of whether it's airy or dence is yet to be seen.

Check back in about 8 weeks and I will be able to prove or disprove the theory.
Especially since their is no question as to the strain.

Glad to hear it. She is a wonderful breed. I think the grow I'm talking about was over at the farm. If you google it you'll find the grow.

a friend of a friend was telling me something about this strain.
from what i understand Lemon G is G13 X Jordan of the Islands Lemon Skunk.
From what I understand it G13 is a long flowering time.
Which was hard to manage because it frosts over early, stinks up the place in the most therapeutic manner, but finishes later.
when i smoked it, it was the best weed I had ever smoked.
No doubt one to keep a permanent place in the garden if one could find a seed or clone.
He said these Ohio Bastards are stingy fuckers who don't share enough so the strain is rare.
I beg to differ. When I went to Ohio in 2001 I ran into some cool people.

So this is what they look like 4 1/2 weeks in veg LSTed from the begining. I just repotted and trimmed them for their last few days in veg. They go into flower this Friday. In pictures 3 and 4 you will notice that the branches have reached out past the bucket which measurs 18 inch's wide.

Yes it is an Ohio clone only strain and yes they are very picky about who they sell clones to.
Due to all the above they are not cheap either.

Typically 70 days to finish. And yes, the buds are long, light green, and fluffy. The stuff should taste like straight up Lemon Pledge. Very intense lemon taste, almost too strong. I've become sick of the taste before from smoking it too much.

If you're looking for a good producer from the same area, go with Deathstar. Lemon G just doesn't yield too well.

lemon g at day 46. i know nothing about it really.
truely not a phat yeilder, but makes up for it with novelty. you say to use it sparingly, eh?
a bagseed plant next to it may bring twice as much bud depending on genetics. generally a random weed plant gone sensemilla is just traditional pine-ish. the lemon makes the average person jump for joy.

one of my last bagseeds must have been chocolate thai, or some sort of coffee. its a roll of the dice with such a condition.
being the previous n00b I didn't clone it. wonder what that was?.

i read that lemon g grows long and thin to a point and then goes fluffy.

wow. lots of tops. Nice grow man.
I was able to access a grow log from a friend.

when he got ahold of the strain he was excited. but ended up killing it.
He switched from hydro to pots and just failed first off. Basically bad grow habits, but hydro plants have so much water available they never got too sick.
but he cloned it.

the next time around it was done right. He learned the secret technique of the 'pot lift' method.
She was tall and chunky with big nasty bud. :)
Not too much though. Just a moderate amount.
