Hi i am 19 years of age and I have smoked marijuana for about 5 years now. I feel very strongly about marijuana and how the government has treated this issue. A herb that has been used by hundreds of different cultures for over 9000 years for medicinal and spiritual purposes and has caused no recorded fatalities cannot just suddenly get banned. It has excellent medicinal values, and if legalised would bring probably billions of pound into this country which would help to sort out the crisis that this country is in. Why then if marijuana has been proven to help reduce cancer feeding cells hasn't the government looked more into this, surely if theres a cure for cancer the government should be doing everything in there power to help bring this cure to the market. What about anorexia, insomnia, atheritis, depression ect. If theres even a chance of a cure or substantial pain relief surely the government "that wants whats best for the people" would look into this and legalise it but no to them its all about how they look and power not whats best for the people of this country. loo
MARIJUANA IS NOT A GATEWAY DRUG, IT IS NOT BAD FOR YOU, IT DOES NOT KILL, IT DOES NOT JUST GIVE YOU SCHITZOPHRENIA AND TURN YOUR HEAD TO MUSH.
Look at the rick simpson case for example and how that government wouldn't even let witnesses that he had cured from cancer stand up for him at court, this is a classic example of the uncaring fascist government and there ever going pointless war against marijuana.
When I was young I used to enjoy fighting i used to get boozed up go outside and cause mayhem and almost always end up in the police cells, wasting more government money and police time along with risking injury to myself and other people when i started using marijuana i calmed down and started seeing everything from a different prospective, I haven't been in trouble with the law or a fight from basically the time i started heavily using marijuana. So then there must be a good reason why marijuana is illegal and drink isn't, Well there is not.
This is my opinion about marijuana and am sure thousands of people share these views with me and would like to thank you for taking the time to read this.
