As of 02/03/2015 an Amendment has been issued to the Cannabis Control Act. This legalizes the possession by a person 21 years of age and older of cannabis in an amount
not to exceed 30 grams. In addition, permits the production and possession by a person 21 years of age and older of not more than 5 cannabis sativa plants.
Please go to www.ilga.gov, and type in SB0753 in the left search bar. This will provide a break down on the statutes in Order of Appearance.
The amendment was filed with Secretary by Senator Michael Noland.
