Legality Of Seeds?

I am a patient in Michigan, and I have been a little fuzzy on the facts of the legality of seeds. As a patient, am I legally allowed to purchase seeds online and have them delivered to my residence? If so, can you recommend a good site? Thanks in advance!

I'd say no. All parts of the marijuana plant are illegal in the United State despite any state MMJ law. Since it involves the post office and interstate/international commerce, it falls into the realm of the federal government. That being said, the chances of being caught ordering seeds online is low. From what I understand, even when packages do get intercepted, customs seizes them and you get a letter from homeland security saying the package contained cannabis seeds, which are illegal in the United States, and they take them. Never heard of anyone being busted for it. Keep in mind I'm not a lawyer. This is just all the information I've gathered in my research on the issue. I think a lot of MMJ patients forget sometimes that even though their state allows it, federal law always trumphs state law. Technically, even though you are 100% legal in your state, if the DEA or the FBI really wanted to be assholes they could bust any MMJ patient, caregiver, or dispensary at any time. Although I believe President Obama "unoffically" ordered the DEA to stop busting MMJ patients and clinics.

Bottom line, the risk is minimal (especially with a MMJ card), but yes technically it is illegal. Seeds are the easy part, it's grows that are what get busted. Since you have your card, local/state law enforcement won't touch you. I'd still be descrete though. No reason why anyone should know even though you are legit.

The Attitude Seedbank and Nirvana are probably the most popular seedbanks right now. I've ordered from both several times with no problems.

I think in Michigan if you go to a Compationate Caregivers meeting you can get clones....... Even better than seeds IMO.

perfectly said. +rep.

i'd say go for it, order some seeds. i ordered a small order my first time just to test the waters a bit and i had no problems.

i have used the single seed center (they also sell packs, not just singles) a few times with fast delivery and great customer service and ive only had 1 seed not germ (barneys farm morning glory). their prices are better than attitude on a lot strains that ive checked out and their guaranteed shipping is much cheaper. waiting on my first order from attitude right now...attitude is cheaper on TGA and they had a good monthly special goin so i went with them.
here's a link to the single seed center http://www.worldwide-marijuana-seeds.com/

Hey Peilo

Just wanted to let you know that the delivery address on your package from the Tude is visible in the pic you posted. I can't make out what it says, but I know somebody out there could. Just a heads up bro.

I received my order of some Fem Ak-48 from Attitude in about 9 days to the mid-west no problem.

This is my current grow with my best batches of "reggo" weed, I was too afraid to buy seeds online. This is my 2nd grow (better equipment) and holy crap I can't believe how fast they're growing! It's only been 15 days since sprouting! I think I'll order some Blueberry after this grow ;). I've had it once before and it's great medicine.

Just about to pick one, how long for flower, conflicting reviews of 50 - 77 days. I'm on day 63 tomorrow. Have you ever grown this strain before. I got 2 clones awhile back one I put into flower on the 5th of August the other on the 15th, so both are ready at 50 days, but doesn't look that sugary. but does look plump and ripe, at least under the microscope. Really hate to yank her early, but just the same I hate to over do her.
