I know people who've been growing and selectively breeding their own outdoor strains for the last ten to twenty years. They finish on time. They're still not bothering.

we've got some guy who's an attorney calling for the seed to sale crap and trying to get a special session to vote on it, Bud Scott i believe is his name. Seems like all he cares about is the corporate guys.
The health dept passed new rules that require a pharmacist be at each dispensary and they can't sell smokable, also edibles are limited to a 12% max of THC. Looks like i'm not getting back in until they straighten that shit out

Somethings off about that number or the lawmakers are clueless. 12% of a 1 ounce piece of chocolate is 3.36 grams. That's 3,360 milligrams. 336 milligrams, or 1/10 of that, would be a very strong dose.

They basically did all those things to make it out of reach for anyone. I mean really who's going to hire a pharmacist to sell a few edibles? And who is going to buy 12% edibles?

Just saying 12% doesn't mean anything. Like I just said if the upper limit is 12% of the actual edible that's well beyond ridiculously strong. Oregon has a limit in the other extreme. 5 milligrams for rec and 10 for medical. That's a limit of .005 per edible. At that rate if the .005 is 12% of the edible then the whole edible weighs a total of .041666_ grams. Obviously something is really off about this 12% number.
And the weak ass .005 edibles sell all day long here.

You said edibles had a cap of 12%. This says that is the cap for concentrates. Obviously these restrictions are completely stupid and obviously imposed by people who have no clue but your post I was originally responding to had the facts twisted.

Just so everyone reading this knows, things changed. The rules got tossed out by our (Republican) AG (who's up for reelection), who said the rules were clearly against the spirit of what the people voted for. And today a judge struck down a lawsuit that was also trying to stop the enactment of everything. So we're set for SATURDAY people, which is when people can start submitting applications for business or medicinal use licenses.
It was looking bad for a bit there, but we're in a much better spot now. There were bribes involved and there has also been a resignation, lots of stuff you won't hear about in the news outside of this state.
