So me and my friend are figuring out what kind of stuff we are going to need. For lights we were going to use LED's. Does anyone have any experience with LED's and how they liked them. Pro's and Con's?

Search the grow journals. To get what you NEED from them, you arew gonna be spending a few thousand if you want some good production. They are expensive, produe less dense and quality buds than HPS/MH, penetration is horrible, bottom leaves get virtually nothing, you need to surround the entire plant with them, not just the canopy.
Pro's, less heat.

Think about eating nothing but a single multivitamin every day. Theoretically you can be healthy by eating all the right vitamins and minerals everyday; but, in real life we know you can't. You have to a couple meals per day to be considered healthy, even if its not exactly the right stuff. But by eating 3 meals a day and a multivitamin, you are healthier than the two individuals.

LED's are like multivitamins. They are the right spectrum, but they just don't have enough light to be effective. You need at least 5,000 lumens per square foot to have an effective flowering room. Also, LED's are great as supplementary side lighting in grow boxes.

But look up "DIY LED grow panels" and also look on instructables.com for a tutorial on how to make them and save money.
