So I'm thinking of switching my t5s for veg over to leds since I'm now running leds for flower anyways. The electric rate have gone up so I'm trying to save money where I can.
I'm running about 1500w in t5s for my veg spaces, 12-4' t5s bulbs in a 4x4 veg tent and 16- 4' t5s in my 5x5 tent for veg all running for 18/6...So 28 total t5s running at 18hrs a day, 54w each bulb so 1512w total. I have 6 of the 720w growers choice roi and I think I'm going to use one of the gc 720w led and put them in the 5x5 veg and run just 5 of the gc 720w in flower.
For the 4x4 veg tent I was looking at this volt 440w led for the veg space and I'm putting my growers choice 720w dialed at 50% in the 5x5 veg tent. So with this led setup I'd be running 700w less or at 18hrs a day. I just wanted to see if you all think this volt 440w led would be adequate enough for my 4x4 tent. I know the growers choice running at 50% would only be 360w in a 5x5 but that light is so big I feel like I could veg with it at 50%.. if not I could crank it up to 75%.
