LED's for a 3'x3'x6' Tent

Newbie here, looking to set up a 3x3x6 tent & need advise on what would be the proper led lighting to use to get the maximum potential out of the tent. Been looking at HGL & Spider Farmer & just cant figure out how many / what size to use. Will be my first grow & want to try to get the right lighting set up, any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

I use rapidled’s 3x3 300w cob kit. Vero’s when I bought it. I love it. I have an hlg 260 in a 2x4 and I prefer the cobs.

HGL or HLG??? One of them do first class boards the other one does shitty boards, cut and run, and call the cops on their clients. Be warned...

For my 2x3x5 I need a minimum of 180-200 watts...minimum. I currently have 2 245w leds almost 500watts is more than enough for me..id say you want at least 3-400 watts minimum

I’m running a 3x3 and while I started off with 4 Vero 29 B series Cobb’s at about 290 watts I added two Samsung 301h boards what is another 260 watts...

Honestly it was a little over kill, the 4 cobbs or either the boards alone would have been enough... that said I grow one plant in a 15gal pot and with a 12 week veg I managed to pull 704 grams.

Sorry guys, original post was supposed to say HLG, my bad. I appreciate all the input, I was kinda leaning towards the SF4000 but then I find that the Timber Model 4VS is apparently another great light in the same price range. Decisions decisions. Just an old man here that likes to smoke & tired of buying the local crap. Ready to grow some quality bud for myself, Thanks Guys !

No worries, i kinda suspected that ot was HLG. As you see theres some history here.

It might be worth it checking out the chinese knock off thread, plenty of info on how to order chinese stuff without being ripped off too much.

Spiderfarm lights do not live up to their advertised spec as per HLG steve, but could be a decent choice for a personal grow. Personally i prefer diy buut mainly cause its more addictive than crack.

Hlg has a few diy options for a 3x3 but you should go with somethingg that comes in 4pack, like the qb120/132, not sure which one i havent been checking them out for a while.
Qb96 with supplemented spectrum are quite popular but they need high hanging height unless you run them soft.

If you want something mainly for flower check out @Prawn connerys high lights, they have been beating out the competition in flower lately, but they might be too extreme for vegg.

if your really tight on money do a diy im going to be doing something like this for my veg tent QB132 V2 Quantum gonna have them mounted on a aluminum frame prob gonna run them at 60 watts a pop

i suggest doing the 4 pack for the op because super cost efficient and if your going to use them for veg they'll do the job nicely

Does anyone go on the ledgrow forum where her crowd auto-exiled? Nowadays its private and i wont sign up. But id really like to know if see actually disappeared, last time i checked she was awol for some time with people asking about all her competitions and stuff. Its hard not to glee about it
