???led???

If I added an led panel like this one to my grow room, how would it help my grow. It would be going into a tent thats 4x4x7 and there is a 1000w hps already in there. Im adding it for shits and gigs just wanted to know if and how it will help my grow of 5 plants.

Research!...............That LED don't produce man...............If you find a good one it will definitely help during veg.........

That little LED won't do anything for your space. You can buy 4, 24" T8 florous for the same price for side lighting.

Thanks, glad I could help. FYI, I bought the lights at Walmart for $11 each.

T8's vs T5's? Hummmm Why did you go with T8's and not T5's HO. I moved from the old T12 to T5's and have been very impressed with how well they veg under them. I move them to a 400 to finish vegging. They do have T5's for flower I believe. Don't know much about them, I heard they have t2's or 1's in Europe.So any difference 420G.

I'm not really sure if there's much difference between the T8's and T5's. The T8's I'm using are an all around spectrum and help add to my tent when just the mh or hps is running.

Also, they were the only 24" grow light Walmart had and for that price I couldn't turn them down. I priced T5's and they were $30+ per light.

Yup T5's are anywhere from 32 to 38$ up here. I bought a case to get a deal on them, 8 in a case, got them for 24$ each.

t5's t8's etc are cheaper but LED are effective if you get the correct ones. If you dont have cash then dont even consider LED as they are expensive tho. The 90 watt UFO LEDS work well and so do Kessils. I've seen both do wonders. There are also some other LED that work well but cost a 1000$ or more. Not all LED are created equal be ware of what you buy. I still recommend HPS for flower and Flouro's or MH for veg but LED are good for really small stealth grows and supplemental lighting.

i am about to start my first room with some LEDs that a buddy is letting me use...i have seen his crops and they look magnificent! alot of my homies grow 1000w x3 at least...most of them are frowning on me, but i just cant afford the lights right now! My buddy is hooking me up with 5 270W SuperNova ES LEDS...i guess they were 1200 a piece? still need more info on them...i hope to push 15 plants through veg and flower with these bad boys? should have the room up and going sometime this weekend! keep a lookout!
