Still waiting here.. 4x4 tent budget of $150 for a led grow light, correct? Not to far outside of being a legit question
I have a tent I don't even need to grow in it I'm vegging in it right now the whole room is blocked off I just don't have a lot of experience growing indoors I grew two 13 1/2 foot plants last year outside I don't know much about lighting and growing indoors

The fuck did you say did you just call me a fucking scrounge?? My guess is you play dungeons and dragons and got your ass whooped all through school and if I was anywhere near you I would fucking handle you
I used the word scrouge as it's Christmas, I did not play D&D I was too busy sucking the bullies of in the toilets and wasn't threatening violence like you.

A led for 150 in that size is a Christmas miracle, not sure why you just went complete Ape shit over my response!

Any veteran growers out there that can tell me which brand of full spectrum led is the best budget light under $150????? Strong enough for a small 4 plant grow in a 4 foot tent????
I also have a 4x4 tent to grow in and I spent about $1000 CAD for my led light... and im still not sure if its going to be enough. dont waste the cash now, just to spend more in a few months. save and spend a bit more. imo

I would recommend starting a grow fund and putting a little away each month. If you only have $150 for the light how much do you have for all the other stuff you need? Save, save, save. I'd say $1500-$2000 is enough to start a decent grow. Spend that much, harvest a bout a pound and break even. Every grow after is almost all profit. If your gonna do it, do it right. IMO

I’d go 315cmh to start, make some money off it and upgrade to whatever you like after that . The 315 in the 4x4 becomes a kickass veg tent down the road. I’d say go 400 or 600 Hps but you cant really dual purpose those as well as cmh. IMHO.

Hey OP, I think you should consider holding off and saving a bit. I think most of us know what it is to be short on funds. Life is expensive, especially when you got kids. That said you don't want to buy something that won't do a great job just to end up going out and picking up something else down the road. It ends up more expensive than just getting something good to begin with. That is a very small budget for LED but you could manage a MH/HPS lighting system for that. They do get warmer than LED but will produce much better plants with your current budget. It's all about what you want to end up with. Most led lights within that budget in a 4x4 space will not give you the end result most are looking for. Good luck with your decision, hope it works out well for you.
