LED vs HID finally a clear winner!

Ok guys the LED vs HID argument for me is finally over. My 600HPS bulb decided to explode and the hot bulb parts fell to the ground and melted a hole in the bottom of my tent. Luckily I am in the basement. But beware if you’re growing on carpet and using HID lights they CAN explode! View attachment 5055831
How old was the bulb?

Ive ran everything from LED to double end hps.

Best light out there IMO is the CMH.

Full spectrum with UV. Downside, cannot be air cooled without losing some of the good properties. Might be perfect for a small tent that needs more heat.

If I was having difficulties with keeping temps up I would try using my lung room to raise temp. Less air exchange in the vent room should help. Or I could even have my tent in a tent. The leds do produce loads of heat, but we suck it out of the grow area and send it on it's way.
You got it. My exhaust fans are controled by humidity. I used an Inkbird IHC-200 that also controlls my inkbird fogger/humidifier if needed. Now it's an AC Infinity controlled by the humidity setting on the 67 controller. BTW, they just added vpd calculation.

An Inkbird ITC-308 controls a small heater in my intakes light trap.
