LED T5 Bulbs

Are they worth it? Better output? Longer lasting? I'm wondering if I should stay with the regular bulbs or the LEDs...
 
It's not exactly clear what you're asking. You want to compare T5 flouros to LEDS?

I like T-5s for seedlings and clones but penetration isn't that great for flowering. LEDs cost a lot more.

Prior t led panels coming way down in price I was using HOT5s, then began experimenting with T8 leds. What i like about them is within say a 4 bulb fixture, the spectrums can be mixed; more 5000 in veg, more 3000 in flower
 
I spent $80 to replace the 4 in my t-5HO which reduced it's power consumption from 100 watts to 60 watts.
I would have been better off buying 4-22" Samsung strips and drivers for $85 then buying those replacement LEDs

How is the growth with the led retrofit tubes?

Never really did a whole grow with it from start to finish. Just temp use when I needed the extra lighting and space.
I will say 2-22" samsung single row strips out perform the retro-fit bulbs for what they are used for.
