LED strip Lords. I need your guidance.

Im not sure if its automatic or if its screwdriver in hole dimming a la A-type meanwell dimming.
Thnx , i looked earlier on that white knob but now i think that could be a voltage adjuster.
I will check it out with the multimeter if i build this light and take a closer look how the voltage adjusting on this driver works.

My general advice for diy: dont do it for the money, do it to get something that works for you.

The hlg range is quite water proof so you can put it inside the tent for extra heat. Lrs i would put inside the tent cause its full of holes for cooling.

Theres also the xlg series which maybe suitable. But make sure you go for A or Ab version ´

This driver goes not in the tent with all that holes it´ll be out of the space.
I will check out that Xlg drivers , thnx for that tip again!

Thnx man , the driver is advertised as 24 Volt with 3.2 Ampere :

I see the strips use 24.8 Volt but will give that problems since the driver is listed at 24 .0 Volt?
The driver unfortunally have no several outputs , only for the ac and dc .
Maybe i am looking at the wrong driver now , i can´t find a 25 Volt model on this model unfortunally.
Or what kind of driver you would recommend for a 24.8 Volt parallel ?

Cool you did´nt forgot the 80 watt hlg driver i have , still working like a charm .

Edit:

I just checked the datasheet and it says the voltage adj range is 21.6 ~ 28.8V .
It looks like the driver would adjust automatic on 24.8 Volt i guess?

And another edit :
Those strips can run max 48 Watts , but is that 48 Watts for both the 5000K and the 2700K or can you also set the 2700K at max 48 Watts?
It has a turn screw to adjust voltage. It's not a problem

Thnx man ! I will check this all out and make a good configuration on this project.
Also the Xlg drivers i will have a look in later since that have the automatic voltage adjusting and are a bit more solid.
But in either case the Lrs will deff work and for that price it´s very nice.

I've used a few LRS. Theyre honestly fucking awesome drivers.

I think they work great from what i see. They have different protections like against shortcircuit and over voltage and if you use them outside of the tent i think there will be no problem.
Only the adjusting of Voltage must be done by hand but that´s just turn the screw down and check the voltage with a multimeter to screw it up to 24.8 Volts.

Especially the price is nice .

You don't even need a multimeter. If voltage is set to high it goes Into "hiccup" mode and your LEDs will just flash on and off in like 2 second intervals. Once you turn it down enough they'll just come on steadily and you'll know you're within the range.

That looks safe enough to me so that the strips could´nt be overvoltaged.

Yes, in the data sheet it explains pretty detailed it's "Hiccup Mode".

There wasnt any amount of influx that could keep up with a single hinflux. Theres no over lap between efficiency of the strips so its a false economy thinking your getting more for your money , when you're really getting less.

You havent bought these have you? thought you'd be one to cut through the bullshit round here, not fall into it.

did they close then or shortages? i noticed in the US they were deemed "essential" in some states...quite the turnaround since reefer madness.
Essential because they are medical most shops got the rec license after having medical you can't deny people medicine

i bought them for side lighting, would run them at 350mA, but could also use them for a long planned microgreen project.

I'm looking up the H Influx to compare them with the Blux gen2 I have used before, I don't know much about how to compare the diodes used on these strips except with what's on the spec sheets. As far as the sheets go they have lm/w thats very similar and are both cri 80; the Bluxs dont need backing with heatsinking not sure about the HInflux. Anything else I should look at to figure out the best strip for the money between these two?

They are Hinlfux in that map. You can run 10 influx vs 1 Hinflux and still not get the same efficiency. There is no over lap.
Whats the actual difference? and what would your recommendation cost to cover the same area?

i see it like this, buy 20 strips to cover 32 sq ft in a 4x4 floor space with ~1000w. pull 1500g of bud every 10 weeks with my eyes shut. sleep very well.

i have 4 racks on order so im gna need a lot of light.

i can still cancel my order and give you my business... so now's ya chance.
