Anyone have any good or bad experiences 20170826_191550.jpg with these LED's? My plan was to use CFL's for the first 3 to 4 weeks and then transfer to my 600W LED but I came across these at the Habitat for humanity store for $3 so I grabbed them up.

I have a veg tent experiment with those A19 LEDs and par31 led spot lights. Tent next to it is pure full spectrum led and results are better in the a19 side.

Neither compare to the mh and hps rooms but that's Apple's and orange's in wattage. If everything was even the bulbs out perform the hid all day.

I wouldn't waste my money. If you want to do led, go Cree or something similar, otherwise you're just wasting money

Th benefit of leds comes when you use spots, which aim all the light a the canopy

I don't think you can get decent Cree LEDs anywhere for $3 though.
@Growes73 I wouldn't expect too much from these, probably ok for starting seeds or when you need a lower intensity light for clones maybe.

That's my plan!!! I bought a 600W Vipaspectra and it seems great to me but it's my first grow so I really don't have a knowledge based opinion yet. You recommend any LED?
