LED Question

Im working on a 4x4 (ft.) grow room with 4 plants. I'm seriously thinking about purchasing between an 100x3W LED Grow Light or 150x3W LED Grow Light from E.shine Systems.

Will one of these be enough to handle the 4 plants?

hey there, Im pretty new to the led scene myself. I've been doin hid and par t5 for quite a while.I can't speak on the quality of e shine. but I do understand that they make lights for advanced led. from what Ive gathered the 150x3 is actually pulls 248 watts.

you want roughly around 36 watts per sq foot. so i would go with 2 of those units or maybe 3 100x3 led. i have seen some pretty good yields with a true 240 and 300 watt led's in the same area, butother brands. so i could be wrong about coverage on e shine

I re read. Yeah the 150x3 should cover 4 plants. I was thinking you are going for a whole 4x4.

Thanks for the reply hyroot. I figured that the 150x3W would be enough but I wanted to make sure before I purchased. I'll work on getting another one once I decide to expand for two more plants.

Check out www.blackdogled.com you would do better with the BD450. a smaller version of what i use, and i really cant be happier. they really do outperform HPS now

Thanks for the info, but their prices are insane.

ya, but you get what you pay for. and if you figure one Bd360 is more powerful then 3 100 watt eshines

Well Im planning to get a 300W eshine for a good price. Once I have it and have my under current dwc up and running, I'll do a little journal.
