LED or hps

Has anyone any proof of led efficiency?

LED's will efficiently drain your wallet. E-Bay stores love LED users.

They're electrically efficient, yeah... But worth the cost? Probably not...

Unless you're using 50w of LED lighting per plant...

Unless you want to grow a stubby piece of clover, you'll need 50 of those Ruby Grow Bars to do anything worthwhile.


For one or two trees you'll get great results with a 150W HPS up top and 4 or 6 CFL's at the bottom

some poor sap bought those lame UFO LED's for $1200 for 2 of them...heres a link to the thread, i honestly feel sorry for the guy..think of what a perfect setup you could make for $1200, as opposed to buying 2 LEDs which are equivilant to a 400watt HPS....total ripoff...
