led options needed as soon as possible

Hi all I need to know about apollo gl 60 180watt vs galaxy hydro 180 watt. Can anyone tell me which is the best? I need info right away. I have a 2x4x5 tent and unfortunately my 400 watt hid is pushing the temperature up to 90°s on50%power and I need to change it as soon as possible. Just added the light today and this just won't work. I should have got a led instead but was told that it would work by someone on another forum with out temp problem. I guess he lied. If anyone has experience with these please let me know Tks. By the way these are probably all I can afford at this time.

From what I can tell, they're the exact same Chinese light with different names. So flip a coin!

The galaxy is 9 band the apollo is 6 band so far that's the only difference I see. Would like to know which is best if anyone has first hand experience

The bands they use aren't ideal, I doubt you'd see any difference. Most led folks have moved onto warm white or white+red spectrums, they've proven to be more effective.

The a51 w100 is on sale for $235 if you can afford it- much better light. www.a51led.net

Yea I was pointed towards those and if hadn't got the hid I could have afforded those but now I can't. About $150 is the most I could go now. Tks though

also look into buidling your own led using the cree cxa3070 cobs, several thread on here using them, with fantastic success

you could assemble to cobs using the cxa3070 for 150 dollars and blow away those cheapo chinesse lights

Thought about that too but I'm pressed for time. Need them now unfortunately.

Yea was looking into that till was told that the 400 hid would work. Gonna flame that guy when I get a chance dang him lol

Dang temp is 96 now guess I'll have to take it out now tops are looking heat stressed already and it's only been in there 2 hours I'd get a cool tube if I could but only have access to one Side of tent to vent from. Other side had to go against wall to fit where I have it. I'm 4 weeks from harvest so really don't need this happening now

You don't need access to both sides of tent to run a cool tube my current set up pulls air from inside top of tent through carbon filter through cool tube and out my roof works great tent stays in 70's with lights on and I have 2 400's in a 4x8

this is the maker not a retail shop ......that been said if u want price quotes u can ask them (just send a email to one of the ppl...i used kevin) if u do not see the contact info allow all scripts u should see it fallowing u down on the left side as u look at the page they will sell u 1 or 1000 units

u control the system and set the timers up all yourself......several units can be daisy chained together allowing u to control them with one unit so all are in sync....it is good work it has lasted me 2 grows now going on 3rd playing around with it
