CFL's can be used for Flower too. They are not as good as LED or HPS lights but do work. In flower you want to use Warm CLF's 2700K or 3000K . Cannabis Loves the red color spectrum when it is in flower. Most will mix the cfl's. In Veg they will run alot of the 6500K ( blue Spectrum) and a few of the 2700K. But when flower time comes they will run more 2700K and just a few of the 6500K. If your going to use regular LED lights from lowes you want to follow those same color temperatures. The LED grow lights have a lot of different spectrum's the new 5th Gen have 12 bands. They are desinged for growing so you will get better results with them.

This is a picture of my grow with a 300watt ( 192 true watt led ) 10 band led light i got for 146 bucks. Still cant believe how well it works for the power it draws.IMG_1172.jpg

By the time you get done at lowes buying enough lights to do a grow you might just end up spending more and get less results.
