Hey riu members
Im I'm going to be starting my winter grow shortly and I am thinking of giving led a go considering the costs saved on ventilation.

HaS anyone had any experience buying led of ebay. They all look to be $100-$200 cheaper than some I have seen. As the old saying goes "you get what you pay for".
Although they claim its it's cheaper because of marketing and packaging being what saves them money.

This is what I was looking at.ufo style one

And this

Can anyone voice for these type of lights on ebay

Thanks in advance

- look for units with at least 3w chips
- aim for prices at 1 $/watt or better, (actual drawn wattage, not chip rated wattage).
- Look for units with multiple shades of reds (Orange 610 nm\Red 630 nm\Deep Red - 660nm).
- Basic Red\Blue units which are the best bang for your buck perform much better when combined with Fluoros, MH, or HPS for a wider spectrum.
