LED Lighting

I was otrn between LED and HPS, but I have read enough, and found an LED kit for $54 US that covers a 1.5 foot area, and puts out the same amount of light as a 150w HPS. It was a really tough decision, and I studied the spectrum ratings and I feel that LED can offer more, especially in my closet. I dont have to worry about power, noise, or heat. I have plants vegging now, and when I swithch to 12/12 in a few days, I will be using the LEDs. I will keep everyone posted on the progress!!!

how many plants? i would recommend some cfl's aswell. just give it a try. then try the 150w hps later and see the diffrence.

I'm sorry, but that 14-watt panel will not rival a 150W HPS system, honestly it won't. Good luck to you though.

The reviews are hit and miss.
