Led light bulbs fix?

i have had three light go out on my led can I fix this myself

You can gut it and replace those crappy leds with some citizen 1818’s or some other cob lighting. It would give you a better light.

I suppose it would be possible to desolder and replace the failed diodes but like Lordhooha has said, I would seriously consider gutting the diode board and using better components. If you are open to hacking, you will need to open the unit and see if there is any info listed on the led drivers.

Write it off as a loss and do some research in the LED section BEFORE buying a new one. Either that or use HPS.

I wonder if there's anything worth salvaging in that unit. Probably shitty drivers with a shitty heatsink.
