Yo homies...buds are almost done, i got to say the plant i topped looks to harvest half MAYBE compared to the ones i just let grow which are WAY bigger. This is my first time but i also have 5 plants vegging and i topped another 2 plants and it is much smaller than my untopped plants. no pruning at all really...and the lower nugs are now at 4 inches all of them! These lights are killing it, i will keep you updated!

thanks man, i cant wait to see what LED's are doing in a few years....

in the real world for everyday use. parking lights, household lights, office lights, all sorts of lights! LEDs are starting to be mass produced finally for these types of light replacement....IMO in a time LEDs are going to make other lighting obsolete for most applications. My business just got into selling LED lights and even leasing the lights bc it is expensive to retrofit with LEDs. For buildings we can show them such a savings in power bills each month and keep them out of top tiers because the overall demand of these lights is far less. So when you face utility company strategies that are out there today LEDs are a better solution than any other lighting. Hopefully the grow lights will get mastered more and more to compete with HPS but it will really take the cost coming down which will happen as the demand increases not just for LED lights. I get hundreds of emails a month from new LED manufacturing plants all over in china and other countries....its insane how many new LED manufacturing companies there are popping up....oh and solar :)

Hey a few have asked and i didnt want to act like im just on the forum to sell shit but now i have to let ya know,

i am a reseller of these LEDs and i sell the 180 watt panels for 420.00. (the manufacturer sells them for 495.00). it is by far the cheapest per watt LED on the market of its kind. High quality engineering behind these with high wattage bulbs. progrowlights.com is the online store me and a friend who is a longtime grower are starting but the site is under construction right now. hit me up i got 90 watt 180 watt and 300 watt panels. check out Haight Solid States web site for description but please if you buy hit me up!

799.00 for 300 watt
420.00 for 180 watt
254.00 for 90 watt

as you know who have read this thread these panels use 6 watt bulbs, built with no fans sweet design. For the Growl fanatics, yes they are good lights and a few of my friends used these and growl and they love both and they are pro growers....its preference at this point but these are cheaper per watt in every scenario. Many people will argue and there is much controversy out there about LLEDs but i have seen the plants these are growing and these lights are the shit, i love these lights for the fact they were cheaper, they have no fans and the wider footprint these panels give you compared to a lot out there.

I subbed, I wanna see the final take, I really know very little about these lights. How expensive is it to replace stuff?

what was your total weight versus how much light you were using ?

I tried using these for clones. It seemed like they would work with the math made available to you by the companies that make these systems, but they stretched too much under them.
I would use led's if they had the penetration of HID's.
