LED Flowers

Hey gang, I haven't been paying too much attention to new developments lately, but my question is:

Are people growing good buds (i.e. comparable to HPS ratios) with LEDs yet?

I'm still running a burple UFO in my veg/clone closet, which makes some really nice vegetables, however, my flower room I'm still HPS'n and I am getting so sick and tired of the cons to that technology. I had to demote from a 1000w to 600w because of heat issues, and to be honest the electricity price is adding up on these mediocre at best heat stressed harvests.

Whats the top dog LED flower power?

Samsung F strips or any samsung diodes. using quantum boards are basically the new thing. no heat and people have been posting great yields here. watch out for the HPS trolls here.
https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/products/hlg-550 this willreplace a 1000w at 500w and a little over a grand.
Yeah, Samsung F-series strips (or Bridgelux EB, Gen-2) and the new Version 2 Quantum boards are the hot ticket right now.

Cobs work alright, I run a mix of Cree 3590 and Citizen 1212's. The newer Samsung and Bridgelux strips look legit too, as long as they're the higher efficiency strips they'll perform just fine.

one is a cob, one is a mid power diode (which comes in several different models like 561V, LM301B, etc)

CXB3590 is about middle of the pack these days and is overpriced relative to its competiton. You can get teh same performance for half the cost or better performance for the same chip cost

Why are they better?? Im just curious..
I did some reasearch, it seems for under 25W CBX3590 is king, looses out to the others when you push higher (which is kinda what the CXB is supposed to do). Im really upset I dont have the best cobs...but the better ones are only slightly more efficient, so im not too worried.
