I found a review the other day on them. They are no good. They can't handle the same temps as cree or philips. They have much lower lumen output. They don't disclose cri or spectrum. They are durable and can take a beating just not high temps.

I found some GE 11w 800 lumens globes a 3 pack for $16. Wondering if you have run across these, I think you mentioned them once before. Can't seem to find much about them either, damn.....I forgot to look if they CRI was displayed too, rats.

As a poor newb, I picked up a couple of FuseLED UFOs last year and they are working great. One of the sales reps said they use 6 or 7 (can't remember) different spectrums. The 90w UFO is $90 and the 300w is $290. It wouldn't surprise me if these were re-branded from another source, all these UFOs look like they come from the same factory. The three year warranty does seem semi-unique in this price range.
If I have time, I'd like to figure out how to bump the LED output from 2w to 3w. As DIYer, I added 6 5w 660nm LED outriggers to boost flower production. More testing required to determine if the extra LEDs are increasing yield. Deciding on an LED was difficult. The two big factors for me were cost and heat. I had planned from the beginning to add supplemental light as my experience grew. That helped to distribute the cost over the year while still producing. My latest harvest was ~4oz in a 19" x 19" space, just about 1g/w. Gotta love LEDs!

Hi Everyone i've been doing some research on this thread and can't seeam to find any LED growlight producers outside the US... Does Anybody know any companies that are in Europe somewhere ?

Leds seem very expensive.. would it be cheaper to build a panel since i'm not looking for so much power.. maybe for a plant or two?

Two indica dom bitches will work under the Hans panel. If you source his parts and build it yourself , their isn't much difference in price TBH.

ok ! got answer finally if that's the matter then i guess i would save some $$ and buying one ready panel and not fiddling around trying to make one since I'm no expert at electric circuits and stuff.
apart from that why shouldn't i go for the vipar with 180w at 160 quid, the Hans panel seems quite expensive for the watts it gives out..

I have been reading up on this forum about led lights and what to look for when buying panels for efficiency.
Due to a very small budget I was forced to look towards the Chinese market for led lighting however I did also keep my criteria strict towards all the required light wave lengths, their ratio, per led wattage, seller no hassle return warranty, seller extended warranty past the no hassle return period.
I came across this seller with a pretty up front warranty and claims.
The light is a 450 watt led panel with 150 x 3w bridgelux LEDs. The panel comes with 90 day no questions asked return and 5 year parts warranty. I do have the tools to solder any leds' that may or may not but out in the future.

Bridgelux doesn't make half of those wavelengths.............i'd suggest saving your money for something better.
If your budget is very limited I would buy a 250w hps for 100 bucks off of amazon and wait it out until you have the proper funds to buy quality gear IMO

I've been an indoor hydroponics grower on a professional level for over 5 years, and recently got a position writing expert gear review and grow articles for Advanced Nutrients' publications. One of my ideas for a series of articles involves putting together a massive, scientific head to head between all of the best alternative lighting (anything aside from flouro, HPS, MH) manufacturers. I will be testing Inda-Gro and REDshift induction lights, Chameleon and Gavita plasma lights and Magnum LED's new 255W panel for sure, and hope to be able to include the new panel from Area 51, the 280W from Plant Photonics, the Apache At200 and Cali Light Works' 400W Solar Storm models as well. The performance of all of these fixtures will be compared to a 600W HPS, and samples from each light will be sent to a full spectrum lab for cannabinoid profile analysis in addition to being compared on yield alone.
If anyone on this panel has any advice on other top-grade fixtures they would like to see included please let me know! The experiment will be conducted in a full environmentally controlled and data logged room, sealed room co2 enriched, with fresh from seed Power Plant from Dutch Passion as the strain.
Does anyone know if co2 enrichment still has the same benefits as under HPS? I've looked everywhere and can;t seem to find anything about this either way. Thanks!
