My thermal paste is taking forever. And no tracking from amazon. Better not be coming from China.

Have fun. I haven’t done squat. I’m not shre when my paste is coming. And that’s the last piece to my puzzle sadly. I was gonna use the u channel but damn they were a pretty penny. Opted for just the sheet.

Have you tried heatsinkusa? It's like 4 dollars per 25 inch piece

Still waiting for my paste. But I installed the hanging wire. And this is how she’s going to hang. Will be using two ratchet straps to hold from each hanging point where my fingers are. Coming along nicely. 59D2E87A-EDA7-4640-AE32-300874954233.jpeg

Light is finished, just need to wait for a few dabs of silicone to dry that is sealing up the boxes and open solder pads. Clones go in tomorrow! Very exciting. Pics showing it running 9 lights. I have a switch on top that shuts off 6 lights for seedling. The switch box also contains all the wireing ends all nice and hidden away. All wires that run close to other wires or grounded frames all have additional covers. To protect from any potential voltage leakage risk. Rather than extending the power cable I just added a plug end and added a gfci box directly on the device so I have an extra outlet and a bit of extra protection and this forces the gfci to go with it.

Looking good bro! I’m still waiting on my thermal paste. Apparently it’s been lost in the mail. I’m itching to get mine up and running. It’s literally just waiting for the paste.

Thanks, yeah waiting for paste is a good idea, the tape don't hold that well. I had to use silicone around the heatsync edge to keep it from lifting. Even cleaned the strips and aluminum before installing.

I'm supprised how much the tent heats up with the light. Had to duct the room out to drop the temp of the room, when running 9 lights the tent goes up to 25-26. All 15 it goes up to 30-31 which is too much. Fan blower is cranked as well.

My paste that I ordered that someone recommended off amazon never showed. 2 months later. Buddy took my money and ran. Finally got my money back from amazon.

I ordered 40g of silicone thermal paste directly from amazon. Not a third party seller. Well ordered on Wednesday. Came today. All and all I will be taking the strips off the aluminium sheet. Placing the paste on the strips and re screwing my strips down. All and all this weekend imma be a go and start flowering. Thank god!

Yeah my tent is hotter now with this lite, some times it gets up to 29 degrees. Plants love it tho. Here is my current grow at 10 days into flower I did end up vending the exhaust to the house return air, it keeps the room down a few degrees
