Leaving LED lights on

What are some tips for leaving lights on unintended? I just started growing and I work alot so im not home alot of the time. I just bought a surge protector and I have 2 25 watt lights on my plants that havent broke the soil yet and there on 17/7 cycle I believe. I have a 3x3 grow tent and a mars hydro 2000 watt light that puts out 280 watts. I plan on using it for 2 plants if they get going

I'm assuming the pair of 25-watt lamps are led light bulbs. Those should be fine for getting your seedlings going. It won't be a problem leaving the lights on 24 hrs while they're seedlings but They will want more light pretty quickly.
Should be able to fill that 3x3 with a nice pair of girls-make sure to keep us updated.

Those panels are not going to do anything, I see them all over amazon ( thin red / blue led ) . You need at least 350 + WATTS of
ACTUAL light to run a good grow in a 3x3. If anything , TWICE of those mars rigs. Not those thin panels in first pic.

Your light cycle is not that different from common 18/6 veg cycle .

I've been running my COBs all year no issue *knock on wood* for safety you could add inline fuses, get an electric ian to swap in gfci outlets and swap in arc fault breaker(s). Probably over kill though.

I leave my rigs running all day while at work with no issue , common surge protected sockets and or fused plugs.
Even for fan power.

Yes the ones in the pic are just to get the seedling started. The mars hydro will come in later mabey before transplant or when i transplant most likeley. Ive seen some growers on youtube growing in a 3x3 tent with the mars hydro 2000 and his plants looked great. I know for better yeilds you needs higher watts but im just starting si small is better for me. Also i want to transplant to a 7 gallon. Thanks for the feed back

i use a surge protector with a couple timers plugged into it. i have my fans plugged into the surge protector so they run 24/7. i plug my lights into the timers so i dont have to sit on top of them when the lights need to turn on or off. i set them for 18-6 for seed & veg. 12-12 for flowering.

Look at my other post, just about everything is done by a remote aka receiver. All so just remember redundancy creates consistency. Have more then one fail safe..

Are they good for growing floor tiles? That's what it looks like they're trying to do in the pic in that listing. Maybe they're useful for that, since they sure as hell aren't going to do much for the plants in that setup.

Nah, that Mars TS2000 is 300 watts, it'll slam a 3X3
