Leaves wilting dying

Help, this happened to a full grown plant and it died just a week ago. What am I doing wrong? I water every other day or so. It is very hot but I keep an eye on them. Could it be too much fertilizer? Or perhaps the sun too intense? I have checked for bugs and fungus, nothing.

Cooked that little one. Nute burn. Those containers are trouble. Fabric bags are a godsend. I'll never use a hard container for anything but hydroponics.

Water as advised above.

Thought they looked cooked to. Whenever i hear someone say they water soil every day or every other day thats the first thing i address.

Would like to add to the op.
I would test the ph and tds of the run off. After over feeding like that i will bet you are starting to get a salt build up in the medium and messing with the medium ph.

What are you/have been feeding them?

Thanks so much for the replies!!I've been feeding it bac. I bought pre fertilized soil, so maybe it is overfed. It's also been at 90degrees over here and 30humidity. Should I transplant into fabric pots N maybe mix the soil with coco? (I hear coco hasn't got nutrients)

If you go this way make sure you buy per expanded and rinced coco. If not get a tds meter and calmag. Coco blocks have a ton of built up salt. Here is a thread on my last coco run. Think the rincing and testing is page 2 or 3

Best media I've used so far is no media.... well almost no media... just a large tray with 1inch thick polyester batting...watered on one side, drained on the other.

Best, yet is, we can easily pick up the whole 2x4 tray with adult plants and walk around with it, it weighs nothing.

Ok so I was feeling frustrated when I last posted. So here is how my plants stand right now...they r practically dead I feel, but if anyone could PLEASE spare another moment, I want to know if you guys think if it was definitely nute burn and not anything else. been trying for a year, I keep failing >_< I have another seedling popping up and i don't want to screw up again. Thanks so much for any and all advice!!!!

The seedling I have not given it any bac fertilizer but I'm fearing for it, it's not looking good. What could be the problem? The girls are currently at 600w light indoor with the window open cause we are at 90degrees. I also have transparent plastic on top of the seedling and it's 20 inches away from the light. The other 2 are 35 inches away. The 3rd one of the vegetative was dead when I woke up.. is there any way to save any one of these plants??

Flush with r.o. filtered or distilled water, like mentioned above check the runoff for ph and tds. nute burn starts from the tips in my very limited experience, and those look burned. Also when the temp is that high they'll drink a lot more water than the nutes they eat, so there can be a buildup. try reducing the temp a bit those fan leaves look thoroughly f'd, but the new growth may survive if you back off with nutrients.

There are a lot of great threads in the newb section about some best practices for beginners and I highly suggest reading through. I got a lot of pointers that have helped my grow.

Okie dokie, I'm gonna try a coco substrate called top coco top crop it's not in brick, bought on Amazon said made for cannabis with neem added. I will add worm hummus and read and re-read your blog. Very generous of you to help by posting all that info. Big thanks. As far as foods/fertilizera could I change it to purely natural? For example nettle teas that contain Chlorophyll Nitrogen Iron Potassium Copper Zinc Magnesium Calcium and Vitamins A, B1, B5, C, D, E, and K, banana tea which has potassium, piss mixed with water that has nitrogen, coffee as well and milk for the calcium??

No nutes at all for small seedlings. Buy some seed starting soil. Grow them until they get root bound in a solo cup. Then transplant into some Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Just give water. No extra additives and crap. Also be sure your not giving them city water with fluoride added. Not saying this is perfect. But it should get you through a grow without much work. I think your over thinking it all. Start with the basics.

A full on coco run is a ton of work. Wouldnt do full organic run in coco
You Must have tds meter and ph meter for full coco run. Coco must be fed every day to 20% run off. If not you will have problems.

If your new to growing i would do this. If you have strong lights the ffof will need nutes in flower. With week lights the ffof may be enough with no additives.
* if you mix some coco in the ffof it will need feed sooner and need a bit more than full soil would.

Someone may have said it already idk but you shouldn't be watering every other day to start! You should water when the plant needs it! You have to watch the girls and let them talk to ya! (show u signs) if their over watered they will droop down if underwatered the will wilt u want to find the happy middle in between! I myself water on average about every 4 to 5 day but like I said it depends on when they need it! Sometimes they will drink more if healthy and "praying" they may drink more than normal! Also some strains benifit from drying out a little bit! But good luck hope I was able to help a lil!
