Leaves pointing up?

The leaves on my plant are pointing up and I dont know why. Im about 3 weeks into flowering and i watered them this morning.... When i checked on them this afternoon, the entire leaf was oriented upwards on my plants (one more so then the other)... Im not talking just the leaf tips, but the whole damn leaf?

Whats the deal? Could it be magnesium?

I tried to get a pick up but my camera stopped working...

Thanks

Just some idiot
Three things come to mind, heat, lack of water, or salt build up. Not sure how old the plants are or if you have flushed them? How hot would you guess the room is?

No clue but its warm if i were chillin in there with the plants i would be in flip flops and shorts... And i would have more then that little fan blowing on me...

I think i remedied the problem for now... I was going to get this digi thermo/hygro at target for 14 but 7 is better ill check it out...

BTW you can see my lil guys in my post in the newbee section here regarding this issue...

Ya that was the thing... Moved the lights up and turned the fan speed up a little... They look a little more relaxed now... =]

If the fan leaves are pointing straight up its from lack of light.... either get more lighting or lower your light closer to the plant. What type of lighting are you using?

Sounds to me that possibly your light is to far away and the plant leafes are reaching and asking for more light . Or like people said to much heat my recommendation is to try to keep the heat between 75 - 90 between there youll be fine. Let me knwo if this helps

Its definitely HOT in there... I have no idea how hot it was before when they started doing that but it is in the mid to high 80s right now... Im trying different ideas to get better ventilation instead of just blowing air around inside...

I had originally just got the fan to blow on the plants to help stiffen up the stems but it will have to be used elsewhere now... I will get another for plant stimulation soon...

i think its heat cause my grow closet was 86 degrees and i added some more lights and when i checked on them again it was 108 degrees and the leaves were straight up in the air

Thanx, i didnt know that. I solved my heat issue with 4 inch pvc i had laying around and some computer fans one intake one exhaust. doesnt move as much air as a high dollar unit but gets the job done and was free since i had the parts laying around already. dont have to worry about the cold to much where im at.

jesus, talk about the blind leading the blind...

The upper leaves of a cannabis plant pointing upwards is perfectly NATURAL. That's right, and the reason they do this is because of LIGHT QUALITY. The leaves further up the plant are closer to the light and therefore will lift to allow more light to hit the lower, horizontal leaning, leaves.

In fact if your leaves don't lift up then you are doing something wrong.

Lesson from Skunk Skool, my friends.
