ur plants are fine just flush them damn good, use bloom nutes together with boost and away u go!! its completely normal for some yellowing to occur during the middle stages and obviously end of flowering, dunno why some people stress so much saying it could be this it could be that!! as long as u flush now n again ur plants will do their thing and gro for u, it is a weed afterall, peace!!
He clearly didn't even read this thread...get your ph straight and you're problems will go away. People don't realize that day 23 isn't the end of flowering, it's still in the first half. This problem needed to be resolved, with the acic water you were feeding it wasn't going to take long.

u clearly didnt read my msg properly i said it is totaly normal for some of the plants leaves to yellow at day 23 (half way thru) people who fuck about to much fussing with their plants most of the time end up doing more damage, he prob has a build up of salts causing lockout so a good flush will most of the time sort it out!! if people only realized that LESS IS SOMETIMES MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still didn't go back and read it huh? The advice was to get a PH pen and check the PH and flush...then resume normal feeding...dumbass

And...maybe it's okay for your plants to go yellow early on and for you to not "fuss" with properly growing your plants, but good growers don't harvest yellow plants...sorry. Maybe a little N defeciency in the end, but that's far diffferent than continuing to allow your plants go yellow when you could have corrected the problem and had healthy plants.

A little yellow, not a big deal, a little yellow spreading quickly before you're even 4 full weeks in? Different story. At least read the thread before you come in and say "don't worry about it".

Mate, the goal is still to grow without defs. it is a no brainer man!
That's exactly the point. If your plant is going yellow @ week 3 and you have at least 5 weeks left you just let it go with defeciencies for the remainder of the grow?

Do what you want, but this guy wanted to know what was WRONG with his plants. What was WRONG is that his PH was wayyyyy off. I guess you would've just ignored that fact and locked out nutrients to your plant rather than letting them take the nutrients up and give them to the plant so that it could benefit.

And claiming 6 oz's per plant doesn't MEAN anything. It could've been 8, it could've been more potent, I don't know, but I know that if it went yellow @ week 3 it could've been a lot better.

Why don't you wait until you've been a member of this forum for more than a month before you come in here challenging knowledge and advice with worthless statements after we've already identified a significant problem and you've been proven wrong.

It's really sad to be proven wrong before you even make your statement, but I guess that's what happens when you don't read the whole thread and you just start yappin'.

If this was your thread and you didn't want my advice, then you wouldn't have to see it, this guy wants healthy plants, not dead ones the way you like, and I've advised him how to do it properly.

u have to be a bit of a dumbass to entice deffz anyway, fuck sake its not rocket science, WATER LIGHT AIR, correct measures of nutes a flush now n again n presto there u go, guys stop making out its so hard to gro, if u read a fiew books b4 even starting ul do fine unless ur a complete idiot!!!!

1 thing i deffo wouldnt do is read posts on ere coz only 20-30% of people on ere actualy kno what theyr talking about the rest just make assumptions which take u right off track,

GUYS JUST DO UR REASERCH FIRST, PLENTY OF IT AND UL BE FINE, ITS EASY AS................... NOT TRYING TO ARGUE OR PUT ANY1 DOWN THATS JUST MY OPPINION, PEACE

I agree with you that most people over complicate the process. But I am willing to help out a new grower that didn't understand the importance of PH here.

Over my years of growing in the method that you speak of, REALLY simple I've learned a few things.

I've learned that dead leafs don't provide energy to your plants, so the less leaves you lose, the better.

I've learned that alot of times they will go yellow earlry in flower if they didn't get enough nitrogen before going in and they will need some additional later on. If a plant has vegged for 3-4 weeks prior to flower, that's generally not the case and will be fine without it. Although if you look at FF particularly, they suggest that you add it.

This particular case the yellowing was a sign that his PH was way off or too much salt was causing a lockout and if not corrected the plant will not take up nutrients effeciently, you will lose leaves and your overall yield and potency will be reduced. The proper thing to do is check your PH and flush your plants, AS YOU STATED, so we're not in disagreement here.

I'm not trying to hurl insults, but he's new to growing and wanted some advice. From now on, this particular grower will know the importance of PH and can make his own judgement call on whether to add N during flower.

To each his own on the N in flower, I add it, I harvest healthy, happy, dense, potent plants. I also tend to only veg for a week or two as I see the additional veg time as a waste. My lights only penetrate about 1 1/2 feet into the canopy, why bother with growing 2 more feet of plant? I just up the number of clones I use, but everyone grows in their own style and their own way. Some people just love big beautiful cola's, I only care about cost/gram and time, so I grow the fastest way possible with the best yeilds I can. I have done 7 week veg's and I've done 6 day veg's and I have both logged out here if you want to see the results. What I found is that 2-3 weeks veg gives me what I want.

Good luck with your growing, and try just once keeping your plants green, I used to harvest them yellow also, but green light grabbing leaves make for big beautiful buds.

If it starts going yellow @ week 6 obviously I don't concern myself with it, but when I grow that strain again I'll do things earlier on to avoid it.

i agree with ur last post 100% especialy about the veggin time i only vegge 4wks max.
as for yellow leaves i have none and im in week 4 at the mo, i was just trying to say that it is normal in some cases to have some yellow leaves especialy if the plants havent had enuf N during veggin.

i would love to see some of ur grows, i ad loads pics on ere but got all paranoid after reading a certain thread and removed them all lol, cheers man

p.s i ad a fiew leaves yellow at week three, they were older fan leaves, they were blocking important bud sites as they were pretty large so i removed them!! my plants are lush green now and realy healthy!! buds r coming very nice and i cant wait to try em.

as i think ur experienced and u sound like u kno ur shit i have a question for u!!

i have to plants of the same strain!! 1 has bigger nugs than the other, the second plant seems to have lagged behind slightly, the 1 thats lagged behind has small buds and the pistils are starting to turn already?? do u have any idea why this could be as the other plant is fine, buds are bigger and pistils are still 90% white.

i gave them a damn good flush yesterday and well see wot happens now over the next week, apart from that the babies r looking lovely and healthy ,,

Are you in hydro or soil? I would look into the roots. The plant has stayed small, and isn't developing at the same rate, usually a root problem.

no the both plants grew lovely, their both soil. both plants grew the same size and vigour its just the buds

i put plants to flower at 12 inches, topped at 15 inches and their now 3ft, stopped strechin just bud growth now and some small leaves?? ive only used gallon pots so im defo thi9nkin rootbound, although they are 3ft and very healthy

That's really all you can do is flush them and see what happens. Every plant is unique in its own special way. If it looks happy and healthy and it's just the size of the buds, flush it, keep it going and see what happens.

This can often happen because of the topping, because of LST, etc... The plant will generally yeild a bit more after being topped or utilizing LST, but the buds will appear smaller, there will just be more of them.

Can you grab some pics or do you have a journal? Can't see sigs while I'm typing this.

the plant on the left as ur looking at the pic is the smaller yeilder at the mo but it was the stronger plant up until flower wk3 for some reason, the smaller yeilder was by far the healthiest looking plant all way thru, weird ohh wha, tell u wot il do il take some pics of the both 2moro so u can see the difference if u interested tha is????
theyve come on a lot since those pics and look even healthier since i picked the older fan leaves, r u interested to see? cant take pics now as theyr sleeping buddy!! p.s they are supposed to be 8-12 weeks flowering thats what the write up sais about the strain anyway!! so i have at least 4-6wks left of bud growth!!

Yeah, I always love to look at pictures of plants. Might see a sign of some kind of problems as well.

I would still nonetheless check the trichomes starting @ week 7 just to make sure you don't miss your harvest window.

ive been led to believe that its prime time to harvest when trichomes are 50% clear 50% amber (thru a magnifier ofcourse) is this what u look for? if not whats ur method my fried?? hope u dont mind sharing ur techniques and knowlage!!
