Leaves drying out after applying baking soda and soap

I might have done a very stupid thing which is mixing baking soda and soap with not enough water and so it is burning my plants
Yes I know that I should first apply it in one leaf and see if it’s okay and I did but I didn’t see any abnormal reaction after one day.
So I put them on the plants and after a few hours one shoot got completely dry and this happened over night when the lights were on.
I cleaned the leaves with plain water but is there anything else I could do or u would recommend?

P.S. the humidity was over 60 so I was thinking that the spots on the leaves that I was seeing before were due to high humidity and temperatures and I made it worse! Today I’m gonna buy some equipment to reduce the humidity.

I'm guessing you sprayed with the lights on? Sometimes when droplets sit on the leaves they act as a magnifying glass, kinda looks like that but no sure. Why we're you spraying, bugs?

No I just cleaned the leaves with a sponge which was wet with the mixture. So there were no droplets. I think it was intensity of the mixture that burnt the leaves. No because there were some dark green spots turning brown and drying so I was using it as anti-fungus.

Neem oil or a hydrogen peroxide solution is a good fungicide.

The brown spots may be septoria, which is what I think you're trying to treat. What was your baking soda/soap/water mixture?

no the point is that the leaves were not like this before I applied the mixture. There was only a small dot on the left hand in the pic as u can see.



I added 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 2-3 drops of dish soap and 1 glass of water, which I know now that I should have added litters of water. I ruined these healthy green leaves myself

Yes that's too strong! I'm sorry but I'm still not seeing what you're trying to show but I agree it's too strong you already did a rinse I wouldn't be rubbing that plant like you did with a sponge I would just do a heavy heavy mist and all you can do now is wait, less you touch it now going forward the better, treat it normal and hope it survives

Going forward my opinion, the least your spray a plant the better. only spray a sick plant. And only spray them when you're sure they're sick.

I use teaspoon to a quart of water and add a quarter teaspoon of dish soap, recommend one tablespoon per gallon &half teaspoon dish soap also works, good luck

I applied the mixture with a sponge on the leaves. Just ran the sponge on the leaves so they got slightly wet. Now the drying has stoped and is not getting worse. So I guess it was only because of the mixture and after a shock the plant is gonna grow normal again; I HOPE!

Give new growth a head start and trim damaged leaves.

I think the plant will recover just fine if you don't apply that again, or at least wait until you're sure you've the correct mixtures down pat. I've heard of soaps and things like that clogging the pores, so to speak, of the leaves...and that is a high RH...just a thought! Should recover just fine though man.
